Just out of interest, why do you say T05 offers far easier pain than D05?

This makes a lot of sense to me, and certainly fits with what I am experiencing right now in my league matches - when I can get over a pushed ball to my BH with a top spin / loop then I am winning most of those rallies.

So it came in at 196g total - 91g blade, with 3 layers of Seamoon on both sides and a couple of glue layers.

The 150g weight is glued to the blade so just the H3 to attach and weigh the whole lot. I’ll report back tomorrow..

Thanks for the insight - I have the all wood Acoustic so I think it will be interesting to see how these two blades compare using similar rubbers.

Ok, so it’s 59g cut on a 91g blade so 150g without FH H3 which I think will will be around 45-47g = total of 195-197g which is similar to my current set up at 200g and a weight I like as long as it feels balanced.

It’s glued on now so I’ll weigh it when cut and report back…

Thank you - that’s helpful. I guess my sheet may have absorbed 2-3g of booster but it still seems heavy to me compared to yours.

I’m about to try H8-80 red 38 on my BH and was trying to compare sponge hardness with my current Donic bluefire M1 - it seems like the BF is 47.5 deg or so on euro scale and the H8-80 3h converts to a little more than that so it’s harder - I thought it would be softer so was a little surprised.

Thanks Thomas, that’s really helpful and makes good sense. I’m going to try the HL5 and Acoustic with similar rubbers first and see how they play, before tweaking anything else.
