You could try liquid latex (get one with just natural rubber, water and ammonia in it). That's the same stuff that's sold by many companies as TT glue. TT glue is usually thinner but the thicker stuff can be easily thinned with a bit water.

Depends on what we are talking about: speed on low or on high/full power impacts. H8-80 will certainly bottom out earlier because of its softer sponge. Btw according to DHS' latest catalogue the H8 is available with 2.15 mm and 2.2 mm sponges and 39°, 40° and 41°.

Not (yet) for me ;) Violet and green could still be lighter alternatives to H8-80.

Never played with Tenergy 05 Hard or Dignics 09C so can't compare myself but if Butterfly uses Shore A than both 05H and 09C would have a harder sponge than any (officially) available Hurricane 3. DHS also uses Shore A.
