  1. Joola Nature

Have you considered the Andro 7-ply allwoods? There are good reviews of the Timber 7 Off and the Gauzy BL7 here: https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?22927-andro-allwood-blades (and another of the BL7 here: https://blog.tabletennis11.com/review-the-gauzy-line) The Timber 7 Off...

  4. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

Hi Konrad, How would you compare the blades you've mentioned to Butterfly IF ALC in terms of speed, control, quality and value for money? I'd be interested in your opinion. Thank you!
  5. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

Thanks Yogi-Bear! I always enjoy your reviews. It sounds like the Falck Carbon is very similar to the Butterfly IF ALC, just a little bit slower/softer and easier to play with. Is that a fair summary of your review?
  6. Looking for offensive all-wood blades

    Looking forward to it!
  7. Looking for offensive all-wood blades

Hi Yogi-Bear, Do you know the composition of the Falck W7? The description on the Yasaka site just says "FALCK W7 consists of a thicker core layer and three thinner outer layers, including one harder, coloured layer." The picture looks like a Limba outer ply, but I can't seem to find any info...
  8. Joola Rossi emotion normal vs PBO-c

Just out of interest: where did you first post that review?
  9. I got coached by Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Out of curiosity: Do you know what blade Dima plays now that he's moved across to Butterfly?
  10. I got coached by Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Wow! Dima's backhand is a bullet! Dan, you hit some pretty incredible shots in there too! Imagine being able to do that in a match ...
  11. Joola Rossi emotion normal vs PBO-c

Hi Martijn, No, I don't know what kind of carbon the Gewo uses but, if you read Yogi_Bear's review here ( https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/showthread.php?23679-Gewo-Aruna-Hinoki-Carbon-amp-Sensus-Carbo-Speed-Review ) and follow some of the comments further down the thread, you'll see that...
  12. Please Choose Me a Blade

Of those that you've mentioned, I'd recommend the Xiom Offensive S. Excellent value for money!
  13. ELS vs. Other Evolution rubbers

Thanks Bryan. I've used Joola rubbers before (Rhyzm-P and Maxxx-P) and really liked them, so I have a high opinion of Joola rubbers. My hesitation re the Rhyzer Pro-45 is that I've tried a few of the "new" style rubber with thicker sponges and thin topsheets and I didn't like any of them. For...
  14. Joola Rossi emotion normal vs PBO-c

You could add the Gewo Aruna Hinoki Carbon Off into the mix. As far as I know it's the same construction and, at the moment, you can get one from Contra.de for EUR104 (compared to the normal Rossi Emotion at EUR80 and the new Rossi Emotion PBO-c at EUR200).
  15. ELS vs. Other Evolution rubbers

Thanks All! You've answered my question - much appreciated. What I gather from the conversation is that the ELS is as good as the rest of the Evolution series. All of you have confirmed that it's a good quality rubber, it's just that some of you have found others (eg. DNA Pro M) that better...
  16. ELS vs. Other Evolution rubbers

I'm considering the Evolution ELS and have come across several very positive reviews (including Dan and Tom's on this site). I've just had a look on RevSpin, though, and see that it is generally perceived (by RevSpin reviewers) as the poorest of the Evolution series. All the other Evolution...
  17. SDC Handmade Blades

Beautifully done Hipnotic - as always! Out of interest: What are the playing characteristics of Ash compared to Limba and Koto?
  18. Ciao a tutti, hello everybody

    Ciao Kinggiamma! Benvenuto nel sito.
  19. Looking for offensive all-wood blades

Have you looked at Vodak blades? This one, for example: https://www.vodak-dreva.cz/dreva/miroslav-horejsi-off-entech/46/ I use one of his 5+2 wood/carbon blades and it's fantastic. I can't comment on the one in the link from personal experience, but I can say that the Vodak blade I do have is...
