Interested in the So-Ten as well. Although FL handle is a bit wider/bigger compared to regular Nittaku handle, I consider it still as (too) thin and that's holding me back.

2 New blades by Nittaku: Irodori series. Again a new type of carbon: KVC3 Gyo-En: outer, 5.6mm, 157x150 So-ten: inner, 5.7mm, 158x152 Top ply looks different as well. Maybe koto for Gyo-En and limba for So-ten? (my japanese is a bit rusty so could not find any details on Nittaku's website ;)

Not everyone wants to discuss TT and TT equipment constantly. Most of TT players are not an EJ and they don't change their blade and/or rubbers very often. But when they do, they visit forums like TTD to ask for advice. When they made their choice, they don't longer have the need to stay...

Personally I don't like the design. The bright colors make them look cheap. The price of the blades is not that bad. Surprised that Felix's blade is actually cheaper than the Shang Kun AC. Just by looking at the stats from Tibhar, Felix's blade is a notch faster compared to Shang Kun AC. Does...

Completely useless these top x blades or rubbers. It's extremely subjective based on personal opinion.

In general, a 5 ply wood blade is by default flexible compared to 7 ply or composite blades. With a question like this, you will get dozens of names of 5 ply all wood blades. So, I doubt if this will help you at all. In all fairness, the majority of these blades play very similar. Just pick one...

I watch Gan's clips as well and I believe he said you can purchase these rubbers from him. PinYi is a startup and I think Gan is helping them out a bit by doing some reviews for them.

I'm a fan of 5-ply all wood blades myself. I recently switched back from Viscaria to my good old Infinity VPS. With a 5-ply blade, you loose some speed and the crispiness of a carbon blade, but the gain in control and consistency easily outweighs that. I truly believe that there are many players...
