I"m not talking about a machine that spits the ball out. I'm talking about just a tube larger than the diameter of a ball that just holds the balls until the end one is pulled. Then the rest of the balls just roll down. Something simple to hold balls until the player pulls it out.
Well in the US there isn't as much interest in TT. At some of the early league games here you can hear only crickets in the stands. Even the finals only had maybe a hundred spectators. And I bet most of those people are related to the players.
Why don't they put ball dispensers at pro events? It would be a whole lot easier if the assistant umpires didn't have to toss the ball to the server every serve. All they need to do is install a tube or metal rails that hold 10 balls on each side and players would just take the next ball when...
So you've had the same experience!
I'm just wondering if the shipper has a deal with the delivery company to mark as delivered just so they can keep the money. They just fake a delivery with fake tracking numbers.
I could ask for proof of delivery but all they do is drop it off in a mailbox and run. Nobody is going to ask for a signature on a $15 item.
btw there's no way it can get stolen out of my box because I have a locked box.
I have the ZJK Tamca 5000 as my spare blade. I like the speed and blocking control. But the vibration is a high ping and it's a little hard to control loops. Otherwise I like the blade. Just difficult to use for short game.
Just one item that supposedly was dispatched by Aliexpress. I don't have porch pirates since i have a gated patio and I have a camera looking at the courtyard. I know exactly when someone comes through the gate.
Did it show as delivered when it wasn't? So they can say it was delivered within a certain period but in actuality it's much longer. Well I'm going on 7 weeks and still nothing. So let's see if I get it in the next week.
So I tried to buy some booster off of Aliexpress. It took 6 weeks and supposedly it was "delivered". However I never got anything. Nothing in the mailbox, doorstep, chimney.....nothing. So I tried to start a refund process. Well they require a picture of the product. How in the fk do you...
Is weight THAT critical? Can you really tell the difference between a few grams? Do you play that much worse with a slightly heavier racquet? I used to be a little obsessed with weight too but I tried some slightly heavier set ups and didn't notice that much difference after playing with it.
Hence why I boost it. Trying to get best of both spin and speed.
I used to use K3 but it's too fast for short flips. It's good for far from table rallies but I had hard time keeping it short and controlling it close in.
I understand the effectiveness of tackiness isn't much different than non tacky surface when it comes to how much spin you can impart. However, I do notice that for short, spinny incoming balls it's easier for me to grip and flip (control) than non tacky ones.
K3 is a very good rubber however the tackiness will wear off and then it's not very effective. The speed is great but I want tack AND speed. So I've decided to go the Chinese rubber and booster route.
What's the diff between Arthur China and Asia? Is one faster/tackier than the other?
I'm disappointed in the lack of tack as well. I'm starting to look into other Chinese rubbers like 729 and Loki. Currently I'm using Rakza Z and it's tacky but not the same as that old DHS tack.
