  1. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

Yea, H3 can be especially tough to use on the backhand, even in 37, even boosted. Are you moving the 37 to your preferred blade because you also prefer this rubber to the 39 on your FH? What rubber are you going to use for your BH on each blade?
  2. changing H3 NEO 37/ 2.15 to H3 NEO 40/2.15...........

When looking at your setup, I always thought the H3 39 was on your FH and the H3N 37 on your BH. What's your other blade like btw, comp, thickness, playing characteristics...?
  3. Thoughts on my future racket, any tips or recommendations?

Whereas on a 7-ply all-wood or carbon blade, it quickly becomes a speed demon that's much harder to control, like a Ferrari in a ditch.
  4. Thoughts on my future racket, any tips or recommendations?

Yea, even though 5-ply is still fast enough for the plastic ball.
  5. Thoughts on my future racket, any tips or recommendations?

Hey Lucast, You say you're an intermediate player, which doesn't give us necessarily the right idea of your level since it can mean different things to different people. How many years have you been playing? How long have you been getting coaching? Do you play at a club against higher level...
  6. Nittaku C1 vs Butterfly Rozena

Definitely feels like 45 degrees, no more than 46, like Xiom Vega Japan, Nittaku Flyatt Spin...

The Japanese flag just looks like a red dot, the white blends in with the profile box way too much. Also, the location feature was a nice option. You can be from one country but live in another.
  8. Rubber for nittaku acoustic

You're an advanced player though! ; ) With a great coach!
  9. Rubber for nittaku acoustic

You want to try to brush the ball with a thin contact like you would with the tip of a brush. Think of the topsheet at the tip of your brush, you only want to use the topsheet and a bit of the sponge, not penetrate the sponge too much and hit the blade. You also want to pay attention to where...
  10. Rubber for nittaku acoustic

Too little force. Also the sweet spot is in the blade, not the rubbers.
  11. Rubber for nittaku acoustic

The handle of the Acoustic FL is definitely small, even the Large version. It's normal for the balance to be towards the head (it is for most blades), especially with the small handle and rubbers on the mid to heavy side like H3N and DNA Future. Grip tape will definitely help with the grip and...
  12. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 2.0 - Bug Report

Yea, that'd be even better. I also noticed that the notification numbers by the bell and the PM icons are a little cutout.
  13. Welcome to TableTennisDaily 2.0 - Bug Report

Thanks TTD team for all the hard work to make the site/forum even better and more engaging! I like the new features. However like many others, I miss the dark theme (I know an option will be available soon): it looked better, was easier to read and it set you apart from the other TT forums. A...
  14. Need to re glue handle to blade - what adhesive do you recommend?

Thank you for your detailed response and the valuable info Nate!
  15. Need to re glue handle to blade - what adhesive do you recommend?

Hi Nate, I think I remember reading that you use PVA for gluing the handles of the blades you make. Do you know what large manufacturers like Butterfly, Nittaku etc. typically use? I'm guessing hide-glue since people who have removed them (like Der_Echte during his beast mods) have managed to...
  16. Chinese Pro Equipment - Rubbers and Blades

Depends what you mean by juniors. The high level older teenagers, roughly the same equipment as the adult CNT. For younger players, I don't know about blades, but usually commercial H3 on both FH and BH.
  17. Golden Viscaria

Yea, the original price was $300 in China. Since I've seen it go up to $500... It's getting out of hands.
  18. ask

Now that you've at least told us how many years you've been playing, you're not only getting more responses but good ones in terms of suggestions. Having only played 2 years and playing with an ALL blade, a 5-ply all-wood OFF- blade that's not too thick would be great for you. Like others have...
  19. Golden Viscaria

Hi Stephanie, I might be. I'm sending you a PM.
  20. ask

Your English is good. If you need, you can always use Google Translate. I'd still like to know how many years you've been playing? You say you want to go from an Allround blade to a OFF++ blade, that doesn't sound like a good idea. The fastest the blade, the least control it has. There are...
