  1. New Equipment 2021

More like a thinner Cofferlait (5.9mm vs. 6.5mm) and less reactive.
  2. New Equipment 2021

Will probably only be available in Japan/Asia.
  3. New Equipment 2021

Hasn't Kallberg been playing with Apolonia ST for a while now?
  4. New Equipment 2021

Either way, I think he deserves his own signature blade from Tibhar. He's a promising player and probably the biggest future talent on their roster. For having seen him played in person, he's impressive.
  5. Apolonia v Innerforce Layer Alc

If you like your Apolonia so much, yea stick to it and don't worry about equipment, focus on training and finding new ways to improve!
  6. Apolonia v Innerforce Layer Alc

You could sell it then reinvest the money in a new or used IFL ALC that's 90 some grams. In France/Europe it retails new for 150€, and I've seen many used ones in good condition sell from 95€ to 110€ (so around 2/3rd of its retail price). I bought mine used for 95€.
  7. New Equipment 2021

Nice! I started following you a few weeks ago on Facebook.
  8. Apolonia v Innerforce Layer Alc

You are correct. This is the main characteristic that distinguishes ALC (more flexible, higher throw) from ZLC (more crisp, more linear).
  9. Apolonia v Innerforce Layer Alc

Yea, like I tried to explain, the weight/density of the blade is a large fact. A 90+g IFL ALC will be significantly more reactive and therefore faster. Not as fast as the Apolonia, but still.
  10. Apolonia v Innerforce Layer Alc

Like you said the Apolonia (IFL ZLC clone) is more crisp and fast than the IFL ALC (I especially like ZLC on my BH). The extra weight on top of that will be responsible for some extra hardness and speed. You would notice that if you also had a 85g Apolonia for comparison. So if you like the...
  11. New Equipment 2021

    Is Spinnier your account?
  12. New Equipment 2021

And Yasaka Trick Anti rubber for those who care!
  13. New Equipment 2021

Yea, hope so, I think he deserves it.
  14. New Equipment 2021

Thanks! I was waiting to see a good pic of Franziska's new blade, at least the handle, to see if it was a whole new design or perhaps a Revoldia CNF (which I doubted). I'm guessing it will be released on 4/1 or 4/21 which are dates that Butterfly historically makes its new releases at the...
  15. Dimitrij Ovtcharov trying new blade against fan?

"always", "might be wrong", "looks like" don't sound like definite information.
  16. Dimitrij Ovtcharov trying new blade against fan?

Yea, he's not saying more than what we already know (ALC), other than he's set on ALC and still testing other components (meaning mostly inner vs outer and thickness, and perhaps also still head size, composition of wood plies around the ALC, hollowness of handle).
  17. DHS Fang Bo alc vs 301

No blades are outdated, it just depends on your level. The DHS Hurricane WL is a stiff and thicker 5-ply OFF+ blade that is still very relevant for an offensive player who likes these characteristics.
  18. Andro blade Treiber Q

I agree, the Treiber Q is too fast and especially too hard for a beginner, even for an intermediate player. I recommend OP gets a 5-ply all-wood blade in the ALL+ to OFF- spectrum which will give him more control and feel in order to develop his game with confidence: Butterfly Korbel, Yasaka...
  19. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

This comment is gold and has me laughing a ton, couldn't be more on point! ;););)
  20. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

Yea, that detail is nice, let's hope it makes it to the final blade.
