  1. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

I think it's leaning towards an OFF blade but Enzo was bouncing composition ideas and handle design samples around with his followers on Facebook (which I though was interesting) and even had an email survey, but nothing final announced yet so we'll have to wait and see the final product. One...
  2. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

There's also a Enzo Angles (French player) blade by Gewo that is in development. The handle will likely incorporate the French flag colors in one way or another (one concept looked a lot like Lebesson's signature Tibhar blade).
  3. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

Yea I think the prominent "Made in China" text is to really highlight the fact that it is a Chinese tacky rubber, especially to the Japanese customer base who's increasingly interested in these types of rubbers, and maybe also to break into the Chinese market.
  4. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

Gewo Karas Scepter blade coming soon, named after Serbian player Aleksandar Karakasevic.
  5. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

Not ESN, ESN rubbers are made in Germany. These Triple rubbers are made in China.
  6. Covid-19 outbreak at US table tennis tournament

Yea, unfortunately I think it's the only way to prevent something like what happened at ICC (big club / US national team training center in Northern California). Back in November, a regular soccer club an hour from where I live had 9 cases which quickly turned into at least a total of 50... It...
  7. Covid-19 outbreak at US table tennis tournament

This is very unfortunate. I saw that USATT is no longer sanctioning events/tournaments until at least January 15th. In France, we were on strict lockdown from March through June, so no sports (clubs closed) for 3 months and the seasons ended early. We're now on a second lockdown since late...
  8. Spinniest but fastest all-wood blade that you've tried.

    They are a couple layers of pics in there, so it's not all-word. ; ) 50000 + 2
  9. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

Seems like these 3 Victas rubbers won't be the hybrid type, at least the 2 hard ones. Unlike the other ones you mentioned, they are made in China.
  10. New Equipment (Rubbers & Blades) 2020

New Victas tacky rubbers made in China scheduled to come out late December: - Triple Regular (42.5 deg) - Triple Extra (55 deg) - Triple Double Extra (57.5 deg)
  11. Spinniest but fastest all-wood blade that you've tried.

As you're kind of pointing out yourself, there's a difference between knowing something and being able to perform it well and regularly. So your issue lies essentially in practicing what you know in theory but not physically in full actuality.
  12. Spinniest but fastest all-wood blade that you've tried.

I think what IB66 is talking about here is racket speed meaning the snap, to make the ball rotate faster, not ball speed since the contact stays soft even if fast. Also if you pay attention to where you hit the ball on your side of the table, you can keep the ball short even if it's fairly fast.
  13. new shoes

These are seriously cool. Good to hear your feedback on them. I've been thinking about them for my next pair but the import tax to France would make them very expensive. Maybe I'll have them shipped to the US the next time I'm there (CoVid allowing). I had their predecessor the Wave Medal SP3...
  14. New Blade Boll ALC or Hurricane Long 5

Yes, over and over again. The 2 Vega Intro in max on the Offensive S should be fine too if you don't want to purchase new rubbers.
  15. New Blade Boll ALC or Hurricane Long 5

Not necessarily. Rasanter 47 is quite bouncy. I'd say Offensive S with Vega Pro FH and Vega Euro BH both in 2.0mm and you'd be set. Then stop worrying about equipment and practice, practice, practice.
  16. 4 New Colour Rubbers Confirmed!

As long as one side is dark and one lighter so that they're easily distinguishable, I don't mind. Not sure if I'll stick to red/black or I'll be tempted to use new colors...
  17. New Blade Boll ALC or Hurricane Long 5

Based on everything you've said so far, it sounds like you feel like your FH is decent and that your BH needs some work and that you'd like to get to a level where you can attack and open up comfortably from both wings even when you're given a push or backspin. If that's the case, then you need...
  18. Unboxing new Yinhe blade : Yinhe Pro-01

Let us know what the actual weight is once you remove the plastic wrap.
  19. Unboxing new Yinhe blade : Yinhe Pro-01

I'm sure they are at least a few in the ~85-87g range.
