  1. Receiving left sidespin pendulum serve

If they are rigthanded and you aswell, try using the forehand and go against the spin, hit it on the right side if it is backspin it it. If it is topspin in it i think you can flick it. Proably easier if you aim from where they served from. You can use backhand and also hit the ball at the...
  2. Help finding a Blade

I think i will use spinpips for a while. I am very much forced to use the body more to be able to kill the ball, so maybe this can be good for my technique. Or am i just stupid to change something that have worked really well for the last ten years? maybe my forehand can become even better...
  3. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I still think many players never will master the short push against serves that have no backspin, because it is too difficult and they do not develop that kind of touch. Think more players will learn to make rather okey flips. Or atleast that is my experience. Yes, i am talking more about...

I still think compare to what Takkyu explained about pushing short on topspin, nospin, sidetop serves forehand flick is an walk in the park. But maybe this short push is not considered a standard shot.
  5. Dumb question on rubber

Why do they do this? seems almost sloppy and unprofessional when other companies can do it? And TSP is a big brand i think. Understand the hardness of the sponge, that seems more difficult for everyone to know for certain.
  6. Dumb question on rubber

No dumb questions! :) I find it odd that they do not know how thick the sponge is. I think they just mean the same thing, but write it differently. That 1.7-1.9 means that the rubber is available in those thickness options? But never heard of a sponge that is 1.8 thick so maybe i am totally...
  7. Help finding a Blade

What others pips have you used? I have Tried rakza po, 802 40, a victas short pimple, dolphin and spinpips blue. Or i have hit with them atleast. Find that the feel of spinpips blue very odd and hard to make powerful shots compare to the above. What are your opinions? Pretty funny i wrote that...
  8. Help finding a Blade

How Do you play? Do not know about thickness of the sponge. But i think if you play more blocking and counterattack like the old penhold chinese a thinner sponge can work okay. I also think they have more control. I think atleast that i prefer thicker sponge, have not Tried thinner sponge. I...

Can you translate shortly What he is saying? Hard to understand because it Do not seem that he show much. What Do you think is difficult with the flip? I think it is important to come in close to the ball with the body, take the ball at the highest point and use mostly just wrist because you...

Trained again today with my new short pimple rubber. I still think the old one was much much better. But the control is good in this but it is harder to get enough power. But i am trying to work well with the body, so maybe this rubber can benefit my technique. As long as the rotation do not...

It is hard to understand in text But i think your coach and me teach this the same way. Or almost. I agree on everything But I think it is important to brush the ball fast thin on the right side of the ball. And Maybe a little up to Down. So you brush the ball enough to make it stop. I think it...
  12. How can I improve my forehand and Backhand Topspin?

Keep training, get a coach and watch videos. Spin and power is to different things and is somewhat the opposite. The more spin the less power. Hard to get a shot that is both powerful and spinny because spin is slow. For spin try this. Close the angle of the racket so you hit over the ball...

Okey! Thanks! It is interesting that you put it on the topsheet. How does this work? I understand that the sponge swells and get bigger more elastic. I think.
  19. Victas 102

I have heard of boosting with baby oil. Is this the same? You put it on the sponge? Do you find te rubber hard? Or i can be softer i just want this stiff, hard, crisp feeling. If you understand What i mean? A soft rubber Do not need to feel and behave to mushy i think. The rubber i try now...
