  1. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

Okay, that is very interesting. I think he is one of the highest umpires that you can be, so it was interesting that he did not know this. Pretty crazy rule then. Coaching can change alot at a lower level i think.

I have no problem with that he failed it. All proably boost their rubbers. But i thought it was somewhat childish and not professional that he refused to play the final with his second racket. I think Jens is to slow for doubles. Do not move so fast. I think he proably is much better in...
  3. Forehand rubbers in China

I think he mean that they are boosted at the factory, and they do not do it themselfes. I do not think power from the ground and legs are something specific for the chinese. Everyone does that in my opinion, it is just that the chinese is very good at. Proably because they start with proably...

Maybe you are correct. What i have noticed through the years is that i think he behaves somewhat bad sometime but i can not remember nothing special so maybe it is just that he looks arrogant. But i do know that he did not want to play the final of the swedish championship last year? because he...
  5. What short pimple rubbers are the pros using?

Haifu Dolphin i do think is one of the best ones out there so i think many good players use this. Almost all short pimple players in Sweden use this. I have used it the last 10 years. But i do not how i should do now. What i have heard and it seems to be true, is that they do not make it...
  6. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

The umpire i spoke to, a guy which travel the worlds and is a umpire for pro tour tournament, swedish highest leauge and stuff like that, said that it is only allowed to coach during the sets in the second and first leaugue in sweden. Do not know how up to date he is but he is very active so...

Lundqvist play very fast and hard i think. But i think his attitude seems so-so but maybe it is the heat of the moment. He is really good at leaning the body and loop the ball haha
  8. Thoughts on coaching in-between points?

What i have understand from talking to umpires is that it is only allowed at a certain level? Feel that the rule do not seem very clear. If someone know the rule or find it would be nice to hear what it actually say in words.
  9. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

I think you guys should work alot on third ball attacks. There is your advantage compared to shakehand i think. Better angle with the racket so easier to come over the table.
  10. the best long pimple to play close the table

It is interesting that he is playing as a chopper and not as a pushblocker in my opinion with a long pimple that almost can not create any own spin. But i would go so far at saying that him and Germanys Filus is not the regular chopper, but very offensive ones. I also find it funny that Ericsson...

You need to work on getting a proper camera angle and closer to the table. That way you can get much more help and feedback. Now i would almost guessing if i give you any advice and i do not want to do that. Edit: I mean i can not just write something on a forum with good conscience if i am not...

Yes, that would be cool! I need to test it more so i know when to be able to Do it. And how to adjust the angle. Maybe a video could help.
  13. the best long pimple to play close the table

I think it is okay to discuss as long as We Do it in a nice way. Knew akerstrom somewhat good before. He and a friend is using death metal. Also know that many use dornenglanz.
  14. the best long pimple to play close the table

Okey. I disagree again. With the old long pimples i think alot of players just won because they had the long pimples. Could just put the racket there. So i think it was easier before. Now i think it require more skills. And i also think it was proably easier to get success at a higher level...
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I think it takes time for everyone to learn something new and do it in match situation. I think pushing can be a weapon on a higher level. I would not consider my level really high but some of my opponents are really good. trying to push more aggressive. A friend of mine played some matches...
  16. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Maybe you should avoid pushing long then in matches and try to use your strenghts more. But of course it is good to be able to block the next ball. The problem i have is when pushing long is i often is to slow to come back out of the table and i need to work on having the racket higher. Maybe...
  17. Just curious how many Penholders are on TTD?

I do not know much about penhold but i think it is rather similar to shakehand. Do you warm up before training? try doing some rubber band. Are you holding the racket hard and tensing the arm? this will cause some strain on the shoulder. My opinion about technique is that you never want to...

What you do after the push, have alot with the push to do. Samsonov maybe have the best blocking game in the world, but if he makes bad pushes he is not better than you and me at blocking. With a good push it will be much easier for you to make something good with the next ball.
  19. the best long pimple to play close the table

I disagree. Maybe it is easier that players can not loop as hard anymore. But it is night and day today, compared to the days with the smaller ball and frictionless long pimple. I do not want to be rude, but i can not see how anyone can say anything else. With the old long pimples this style was...

Try pushing with the racket more vertical. Harder but you get faster push. And take it at the highest point.
