What a brutal week for WMY. She was pretty much a shoe in for the 2nd Olympic singles spot. She had the best record or maybe 2nd best besides SYS against non CNT. Prior to Monday, she was a perfect 5-0 vs. Batra including a 4-0 win in their previous meeting at the World Cup. But 1 match...

When I saw CM hitting winners from 10 feet back in the WD finals earlier, I knew she was in great form and extremely motivated given what's on the line. I'm 100% on Team Hina, but have much respect and admiration for CM.

Anyone know with certainty that this means CM takes the singles spot? You never know. China could change the rules and say we've retroactively decided that CM's loss at World Teams is worse than WMY's loss to Batra here.
