I tried Rxton 1, just started playing with Rxton 5, ordered Rxton 3 pink and blue but haven't played with them yet. Rxton 1 for me is the CJ8000 in 40+ era. Affordable all-round backhand rubber. I would not call my Rxton 5 very hard or very tacky. It is bouncier and less tacky than Sanwei Target...

Rxton 3 and Rxton 3 blue/pink are not the same rubbers, at least they have different sponges.

My experience with Loki rubbers is that their hardness is roughly 2 deg lower than normal DHS scale. I am going to test the Rxton 5 tonight, also nominally 41 degrees.

Could be the blade, I think it's a 7 ply. The AK47 red on the other side of the same bat is a lot faster. Bloom power has decent speed if I swing hard. Overall it is more Chinese than Hybrid for my taste.

My red Rxton 5 has little tack. can't pick up the ball for more than 1 cm. If I drop a ball on the bat from ~20 cm, it bounces 4 times before catching the ball with its tack. For reference, Sanwei target provincial 3 can pick up the ball, and the ball will bounce twice if I drop it. Presto Max...

I tried J3 and bloom power, J3 would be quite close to what I want (but it's on another blade currently), bloom power is too slow, although I only tried it on someone else's bat. I have a big dipper and battle 2 sitting around and I will get to those eventually

I wanted something softer...well, to be precise, I want something easier to generate speed with middle-speed swing. TP3 is too traditional Chinese rubber for me (good for soft touch and big swing, mediocre in the middle).

I can't get used to Sanwei Target Provincial 3 on my forehand, let's see if Rxton 5 performs better. It's lighter, similar sponge hardness as TP3 (39 deg) by finger test. Not testing tackiness yet, I'm waiting for the initial tackiness to disappear.

Could you also compare Stiga Pro M with Rakza 7 please?

Not worth the effort to get an asymmetric blade if you can achieve the same effect with putting different rubbers on different sides, for amateur players at least.

For BH, another key issue is the weight, and usually harder rubbers are heavier.

I think KLC is ALC with a different name.

Whether they are objectively behaving very differently and whether you can tell/feel correctly (that two rubbers are behaving the same/differently) are two different things. Some people are insensitive, some people are paranoid.

Thanks! I have an new B2 OS prov 39 that I will try on my FH, if I feel that's slightly too hard then I will try LAC :)

What's the hardness of the B2 OS prov you had? And how does that compare to LAC? Loki's hardness scale seems to be a shifted DHS/729 scale.

I would guess that the "Tension energy" technology means that the topsheet is under tension when it is glued to the sponge, like tensor or Yinhe's Max tense. The "Hyper energy" which leads to the "spring effect" is more likely to be factory boosting.
