  1. Is there Timo Boll ALC CS blade ?

Probably because that is the only market that has enough demand for it in Butterfly's mind. The penhold market is a lot smaller. Neither Dang Qiu and Wong Chun Ting, both reached top 10 in ranking at some point, has their own signature blade.
  2. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

I think latest rubbers are mainly designed to play with composite/faster blades since they are becoming more popular. I previously put a sheet of Sanwei Target 3 Provincial on YEO and I found it very difficult to engage the sponge despite it being only 39 degrees. Today I tried it on my Rutis...
  3. Life, Existence, and the Meaning of Long Pips - The Opus Maximus of James Z

Spin capability of the rubber topsheet (forget about the sponge for now) mainly depends on its surface grip (material property of the rubber) and its contact area with the ball during contact (depends on rubber geometry). So grippy inverted rubbers would have the highest spin capability because...
  4. Best Setup for chop blocking

Get the exact setup as Koki Niwa :D

Getting a clone/blade with similar construction makes more sense in China/Asia. For example, viscaria is around 1000 rmb whereas Yinhe Pro 01, Sanwei 75 are around 200-250 rmb. Outside China/Asia, the price ratio drops to 2 to 3.

Well Vega Pro is a pre-40+ mid-range rubber, it would be a big surprise if it outperforms the V22DE, a much more recent high-range rubber. I'm sure you can also play well with the nobilis, it just takes some time to get used to a new blade that is so different from your previous one.
  7. Equipment you want Dan and Tom to review?

Anything from Chinese brands except DHS.

Just put down an order on Aliexpress for 24 Double Fish WTT 2022 3* balls for £21.7, so about 90p a ball. Let's see if it's anywhere close to the Nittaku Premium 3*
  9. Thin topsheet thick sponge rubber

ESN rubbers of the same generation would be your best bet, including Andro Rasanters, Tibhar Aurus Prime & Select off the top of my head.
  10. Experience with some other Loki rubbers - Arthur China, GTX Pro (inc)

It is good that Loki focuses on the rubbers. There are too many Chinese brands making Viscaria and 968 clones, whereas the sponge is really where I think Chinese brands are far behind ESN/Daikin rubbers.
  11. Which training ball to pick

I got them from Aliexpress, most likely old stocks. Ding Ning is on the package :D I will check the date stamp tonight when I'm home.
  12. Which training ball to pick

I only tried D40+. I expect DJ40+ is good, but it's not that cost-efficient and I am not at the level where I have to play with the best 3* ball.
  13. Which training ball to pick

My experiences with seamed plastic balls so far: Excellent, official match level Nittaku Premium 3 star: best ball, hard, durable, spin well, but expensive (>£2 per ball) Double Fish 3* WTT version: also very good, but the one I had was discontinued (~£1.6 per ball). The new ones I haven't...

I might have missed it from previous post, but how hard does LAC feel compare to J3 38 or J3 39?
  15. Anyone have a sneak peak of Glayzer yet?

Comments on speed, spin, hardness etc. are often subjective and influenced by personal experience and preference. G09C wouldn't be a hard rubber for people who are used to traditional Chinese rubbers, for example, but for you it is "definitely hard".
  16. Anyone have a sneak peak of Glayzer yet?

It is slower than D09c and K3. It is not faster than common tensors, based on my impression on the receiving end.
  17. Greetings from a SANWEI Official

Hi @Andrea Jiang , can you compare Target Europe 40+ and Gears Hyper for reverse penhold backhand, in particular their performance on mid-table looping? Thank you.
  18. Tibhar Hybrid line-up

K3 would be my bet, I think it's the fastest in the hybrid series, so likely to be the most similar to MXP.
  19. Preliminary test on how much does TT rubber and TT balls compress

Looking forward to the final, complete report. I'm assuming there will be some stress-strain/displacement curves? Figures are a lot more easier to understand than long texts. How would "bottom-out" looks like on such a figure (or how would you define it)? Also, is hysteresis taking into...
