  1. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

Poor end game execution from HM in game 4. Up 10-8 has an easy forehand goes long. Then 10-9 why would you weak push to IK's forehand?
  2. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

Today should be interesting especially for Miu Hirano. Her semifinal is the 2nd WS match. She barely squeezed by defender Hashimoto yesterday and today plays Hitomi Sato who is on the short list for best female defender in the world. If she gets by Sato, how much energy would she have left just...
  3. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

HM has no CNT in her half so highly likely she'll be in the finals (as long as her mind doesn't go blank). IK will have to go through a gauntlet of CNT so I don't like her chances.
  4. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

That's painful. She pulled it to deuce from down 4-10, but couldn't complete the comeback.
  5. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

Juan Liu is a dark horse candidate to upset Sato. Remember that she is an experienced, ex-CNT player though I don't know how much practice she's had recently vs. choppers. Obviously not on the same level as Sato, but Juan Liu destroyed Angela Guan at the US Nationals last year. I think it...
  6. T2 Diamond Singapore 2019

Love watching these two play. This is the rivalry of the future. Mima Ito had to be careful with her serves because anything even slightly long and SYS's powerful forehand is in control.
  7. T2 Diamond Singapore 2019

JJH comes back from down 2-4 in the 7th, fast five, to beat CM.
  8. T2 Diamond Singapore 2019

You could say the same thing about Kasumi. Apart from her nice win against CM she's won against HZJ and Liu Xi. HM has no wins vs. CNT A members. Her 3 wins were FYL, QTY, and LWS. SH has a nice win over DN. Apart from that she has wins over MZ, LJY, and ZR. Just to keep things in context.
  9. T2 Diamond Singapore 2019

It could be that the source is 60 fps and down converted to 30fps to save bandwidth. Or another possibility would be if the source is 30fps, interpolate the in between frames to up convert to 60fps.
  10. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

    Yes!!! All hail queen Mima!
  11. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

I agree that ZYL will be very motivated. Mima Ito's motivation is that she's come close this year, but she has not won an ITTF tournament this year.
  12. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

To ZYL's credit, she is looking to initiate the attack far more than she has in the past.
  13. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

This is Mima's tournament. Go Mima!
  14. Japan Women's Race to Tokyo 2020 Singles

No disrespect, but Kato and Sato are not in the same league as HH. Look at how they are tracking and their results vs. CNT. I don't see how HH is not top 3 on the JNT. Five tournament wins and a winning record vs. CNT. QTY has to be in great form to take down LSW and HH. I hope Mima can take her...
  15. Wang Chuqin suspended.

It's about accountability of the team, not just the individual. WCQ will think twice before doing that again as he's not only affecting himself but the coach as well. I'm sure he'll be reflecting on this with his time off.
  16. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

If this tournament doesn't convince JTTA that Hayata deserves that 3rd spot, I don't know what will. She really deserves the 2nd spot, but at the very least should be on the Olympic team as the 3rd player. First, 4-0 over HM and now the star player as XD champion.
  17. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

I hope Mima Ito wins it all! This is already a very successful tournament for Miyuu Kihara. She's in the finals of WD and has made it to R16 at a Platinum event with a good chance to go even further. Well done!
  18. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

That's gotta be demoralizing for the European women.
  19. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

You're probably right, but give Bernie a chance :).
  20. Austrian Open 2019 [12-17 November 2019]

Wow! HH often counterlooping HM's opening loop with authority. Hayata making a statement here. I hope the JTTA is listening.
