  1. Anyone used this Aliexpress "Cybershape"?

I have Moon Speed, and its nothing like ESN. Its not too slow, but it definitely doesnt have a catapult effect, and its not as bouncy as a typical ESN rubber. Rxton 1 is a great rubber for its price, but its also nothing like ESN rubber. It doesnt have the bounciness or catapult. The closest...
  2. Anyone used this Aliexpress "Cybershape"?

Which rubbers are you referring to? Ive tested a couple of the Chinese rubbers, but they are still not similar to ESN. Which rubbers are excellent in your opinion?
  3. Can somebody explain the history of ESN?

So all these brands like Nittaku, Stiga, Tibhar, they have been operating since before WW2. ESN started in 90's and didnt create tensor until 1998 according to their website. Why is it that this 3 man company was able to create rubber technology that all these other companies could not create...
  4. Can somebody explain the history of ESN?

Does anybody know the history of ESN? How did they get so big? They must be running a pretty attractive business, as they manufacture for every major table tennis brand. Correct me if im wrong, but I believe almost all popular rubbers are from ESN: Rakza, Rasanter, Bluefire, Acuda, Rhizer, Vega...
  5. Anyone used this Aliexpress "Cybershape"?

If only the Chinese companies could figure out how to make tensor type rubbers.
  6. Most Lopsided Head-to-Head

No but I feel like Mima Ito picks up wins here and there, and her style gives some challenge to the Chinese team. Ishikawa has a lot of 0-4, 1-4 type losses.
  7. Anyone used this Aliexpress "Cybershape"?

Well to be honest, I have used $15 chinese blade vs Viscaria and TB ALC. I could not honestly tell you that I feel the Butterfly are definitely better.
  8. Anyone used this Aliexpress "Cybershape"?

I havent use this Cybershape racket, but have tried a different clone Aliexpress racket, and generally liked it. It has enough speed and vibration that I would expect.
  9. Most Lopsided Head-to-Head

I wonder why Ishikawa is so bad vs the Chinese team?
  10. FS: Lots of blades (30+) and rubbers (lost count...) US only

Id like to get a couple Dignics or other Tensor rubbers
  11. 2022 All Japan Table Tennis Championship

I want to see him go into training under the Chinese program. Help him model his game after ZJK and ML. Improve his forehand, and add more spin to his game. Maybe needs to change his racket as well. He grew up playing with a very JP racket which is easy to play, but not conducive to developing...
  12. 2022 All Japan Table Tennis Championship

Looks like edge ball to me? Look how hard the ball bounced to the side after hitting the table.
  13. 2022 All Japan Table Tennis Championship

Harimoto's entire career seems to be in a tailspin. How is he supposed to be elite player to take on the Chinese team if he can't even beat Yoshimura and cant win his home national tournament. It seems like he has been getting bad advice.
  14. Zhou Qihao signs with JOOLA

is ZGR similar to Dignics 09c? I mean is it trying to play the similar role of a tacky, springy rubber?
  15. Explanation for traditional CNT setup?

Doesnt Chen Meng find it hard to generate power on BH with H8? Why would she choose that over a tensor? Even FZD is using Dignics 09c
  16. Explanation for traditional CNT setup?

Right, I get that many players prefer to have catapult on backhand. But why not Catapult with tackiness? Why does the CNT traditionally choose to have non-tacky backhand rubber?
  17. Explanation for traditional CNT setup?

I had a look at this, but it doesnt actually answer my question about why CNT doesn't traditionally use tacky rubber on BH.
  18. Explanation for traditional CNT setup?

What rubber is Cheng Meng and Xu Xin using on BH?
  19. Explanation for traditional CNT setup?

Everybody knows the traditional CNT setup is tacky FH rubber and grippy BH rubber. But what is the reason for this? Correct me if Im wrong, but I think they choose FH tacky because of superior serve and short push game, as well as spin potential. Why don't they prefer a tacky BH rubber as...
