  1. Nexy Korea President (Oscar) Introdcudes New Blade (Eucrasia)

Has anyone played with this blade yet? I find it quite interesting because it is has an innerforce structure but with a really different design: the wooden core is thick and the two wooden outerplies really thin which makes the carbon to be much closer to the outerplies of the blade. It seems to...
  2. Dhs h8-80

Can anyone compare H8-80 (37 deg) with Skyline 3-60 (37 deg)? I‘m a big fan of the 3-60 as a bh rubber and wonder what the differences between these two rubbers might be.
  3. Speaking German at German Clubs

Interesting to read how Germans are perceived as a German. 😁 My experience is that most Germans are very willing to speak English if they have the education. But maybe I am a bit biased because I'm an English teacher. 😉 Anyhow, my guess is that you won't have any problems communicating in a...
  4. Darker Esteem / Darker Liberta Synergy

7P-2A and 5P-2A would give you that, too (but they will be less powerful from far behind the table). Less catapult and lower trajectory were actually the main reasons why I chose the 5P. The 7t for me is a two-winged-loopers blade which is perfect from far behind because it so powerful. It's...
  5. more powerful rubber than Ventus Spin for Yasaka Sweden Extra

Forgot to mention: If you want a harder, spinnier and faster rubber with little catapult you can also try Nittaku Fastarc G1.
  6. more powerful rubber than Ventus Spin for Yasaka Sweden Extra

That's the premium rubber in the Ventus series. TSP called it Super Ventus, now it's called Victas Ventus Extra. It is a 47 degrees spinny, fast, but very controllable rubber which is good for fh. I've played it myself. Since you've already played with other Ventus rubbers it seems to be...
  7. Darker Esteem / Darker Liberta Synergy

If you want to try a slower Darker blade try either 7P-2a (all+ to off-) or 5P-2A (off- to off). The 5p plays more linear due to the basswood medial plies. The 7p is a tad thinner (6,3mm vs. 6,5mm) and feels a bit softer than the 5p. Darker has also released a new 7-ply hinoki CNF blade called...
  8. Lightweight allround blade for maximum spin? Hinoki?

I have two recommendations: 1) Darker 7P-2A which is an all+ to off- 7ply all hinoki blade or 2) Darker 5P-2A, a 5-ply hinoki hybrid (hinoki-basswood-hinoki-basswood-hinoki). The 5P is a bit faster than 7p, probably off- to off range. Both blades feel soft because of the hinoki and stiff, since...
  9. Worst "Technologies" and Gimmicks in TT

A good video on the effects of different equipment in tt is this (it's also very entertaining):
  10. Aurus prime vs EL-S

Ahma, you will probably find an online shop in Finland that sells Stratus Power Wood and also the Stiga blades Yogi suggested. Maybe you can ask your coach or your parents for help. The SPW is one of the most popular Tibhar blades and sold everywhere. I think the EL-S rubbers are a good idea if...
  11. Equal rubber to Tibhar Mx-P

I agree with you. However, there are differences, the Fastarc rubbers do last much, much longer than all the others. But G1 doesn't play like MX-P.
  12. Good blade for penhold short pips hitter

    DHS PF4 032 blade, I think.
  13. Best way to maintain H3 neo tackiness

I use water and regularly Revolution 3. Bio Rubber Cleaner. Never had a problem with a too quick loss of tack.
  14. Making All Wood Blade Faster Artificially

Apparently the Nostalgic blades are VERY fast, even the Nostalgic Allround which is already a tad faster than a standard offensive 5-ply (like Korbel).
  15. Is it time for a faster blade?

Thanks for granting that, Carl, that's very kind. ;) Indeed I think that calling standard 5-ply all wood offensive blades like Korbel or Rosewood "dangerous" for the development of (lower) intermediate players is an example for being overly cautious. Nothing bad would happen certainly. Anyhow...
  16. Is it time for a faster blade?

I still don't think that the Rosewood is too fast. It has the same speed level as the Korbel, different feel (its a tad harder because of the special nct treatment), but same speed.I have played with both blades, but let me also quote ttgearlab: "Rosewood NCT V shows very common characteristics...
  17. Is it time for a faster blade?

Yes, that's the point, cpen versions of Xiom Offensive S are difficult to get, that's why I didn't suggest it. Xiom Offensive S is not like YEO, it has the same Limba-Ayous construction as your Allround Classic, Primorac Off-, Korbel and OSP Virtuoso (they differ in weight, headsize, thickness...
  18. Darker Blades – H3Neo compatibility?

I have only tried Skyline 3-60 (mid hard) on backhand. Its a very controlled and spinny rubber with a medium throw. Not fast at all, so maybe something you are looking for to tame the 7t. :)
  19. Waldner or Ma Long?

Both outstanding players obviously...it's best not to take this too seriously...but Walder is better though ;)
