I tend to say rather no advantage. In fact I like a slight head heaviness as it gives me more punch in the strokes.

Principally, no bad idea but grip tape would make the handle thicker impacting comfort/playability and would also increase the overall weight. Especially, the latter I would like to avoid.

Yes, that is a side aspect. I mitigate this by wiping my hand on my clothes between the rallies. At least my handle stays sort of clean and doesn't provide a bad smell. Overall it is kind of a trade-off but for me personally it works.

I do this. I am a heavy hand sweater as well and sealing the handle helps my playing.

I use the one from Joola (but I don't know if that is the best) and I am sealing all of my blades. I am not sure I personally would feel a difference with a blade sealed vs. non-sealed if I put 2 layers of glue on the blade and 3 layers of glue on the rubber.
