Sorry to keep you waiting dguerra. Here are some more: :) 1. It can be played in any type of weather since it's an indoor sports. 2. Any old buildings can be use to convert into a playing hall. 3. Unlike tennis or badminton, it doesn't need a building with high ceilings. 4. As for lightings...

The umpire is falling asleep, while the score keeper is cursing coz he really needs to go to the bathroom. :)
  3. Which Tennis player do you support? :D

He doesn't get the name Joker for nothing:). But I realized that he doesn't do as much nowadays.
  4. Slovenia Open - ttGuru's stats

Thanx TTG, great statistics as usual :). I am surprised there were so many disqualifications. They are really clamping on illegal/unapproved glue.
  5. Whats your ranking?

Retired :) so no ranking. I just play invitational nowadays, highest was 2671 ETTA 1992/3 (when I was 23/24 years old).
  6. What serve/service do you use?

That's a very good initiative buddy:) Get the 1st bounce about a foot from the net, and take it from there.
  7. Awesome funny pingpong video!

Murdered by a robopong!! The CSI team is going to have a tough time making the sense of that. Oddly enough, the man reminds me of an engineer and a good friend from Germany, Kurt Schaffer. :)
  8. Jun Mizutani Ghost Serve

    Thank you Muchiyama!!! :)
  9. SL-OPEN : Why Ma-Long couldn't make it through??? :(

Well, he got the monkey off his back now hahaha. Like Michal said, it's tough to be tha no 1. You win some, you lose some. At least he lost in the finals.
  10. Can you do this? :D

IT'S LIKE HUMAN EQUALIZER!! The ultimate hand eye coordination. Brilliant...
  11. Awesome defensive skills (VIDEO)

Wow!! I really like that game mate!! Thanx for posting!! I always believe, in doubles it's always best to have 2 defensive partners than 1 offensive and 1 defensive. QUALITY STUFF!! :)
  12. What serve/service do you use?

Usually I would take a little step back. If the ball is short, it would be easier for me to move forward. If the ball is long, I can start my attack. It's more difficult to move back when they push deep into you elbow. Assuming if my opponent is a right-hander, if I were to serve wide to his...
  13. Which Tennis player do you support? :D

The great Rod Laver/Stefan Edberg was my 1st, then it's Pete Sampras. Roger and Rafa comes close 2nd. I never like baseliners, but Rafa is an exception.
  14. Malong's new blade?

Pause at 1:14/1:15 and you will see his blade :).
  15. Slovenian Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Look at 1:16 and pause, and you will see Ma Longs blade quite clearly :)
  16. What serve/service do you use?

Yeah Lunite...true. Chances for anyone to attack is slim. They just have to push or flick back to me..that's it, it's not going to be a winner..:) At my level, very seldom my opponents gave me any point because of my serves. I still have to play the 3rd shot, and I like that. Just keep it safe...
  17. What serve/service do you use?

Why??? Obviously we all have several, but I am sure we have a favourite. Mine is just a heavy underspin where the 2nd bounce is on the baseline or edge side of the table. It doesn't give the opponent much option.
  18. Improving the visual presentation of Table Tennis

ITTF have the knack to kill the joy of TT...They have lots of practice over the years :) *Note to everyone, never invite them to your party...
  19. I need help with my blade

Gergely is super fast:) but should go well with sriver. You may find your short game suffers a little initially, but you will sussed it out quickly.
  20. Improving the visual presentation of Table Tennis

Oh yes, 5 tables would be exceptional. It was frustrating last night because the top players were not playing on the 2 show courts :) This also means I need faster internet connections. As learning from tennis, I think it's the way to go. ITTF have to start, it does takes time, but they really...
