I agree with Andy - quality over quantity.
Concentrate on your strong points and polish them. This way you'll gain lots of confidence in your game and confidence in table tennis is gold.
Sometimes playing against weaker players is also a good advice. It will make you focus on scoring points...
A bit off the topic, but I also tried EL-P on my previous TB ALC. I switched to Acuda S2 on bh side. Also felt much better than EL-P, more control, easier to block, loop ... Now I switched to a different blade anyway ..
No they won't. I just want to be politically incorrect and talk about how to be a serious contender to the CNT.
People are doing "what they can" for more than decades now ...
Of course you are referring to my previous ideas i.e. about a centralized EU training events for top players. I'm not...
Well yeah, I just realized it. Still there are league matches like in the middle of April in Poland, as far as I checked TTBL too. IMHO Europe is not interested in a serious competition with the CNT and this is why it is futile to build any emotional expectations.
Rain ... I don't mind you...
NextLevel, but what is wrong, with me expressing my frustration, that since I started watching table tennis, besides Singapore Women 2010 in Moscow, virtually every team had no chance against CNT? ... and it was basically 0:3 each time ...
Ok guys ... CNT has already started its closed training with lots of sparing partners, and coaches etc. as mentioned by Raineverever, while Europe still has Champions League games like Apr 06th and i.e. Polish super league has matches on Apr 17th!
In terms of the preparation I dear to say...
Hello Damien,
great to read your answers and to be able to "talk" to you.
You yourself was quite an offensive player, but with a unique style. Do you think an all+ or off- type of game, in today's professional table tennis, is still an option? You mentioned, players are much stronger physically...
W jakiej...
Yang had a hard match against Pesotska, but overall she proved she is in a stable form now. Her opponent in the final Hashimoto Honoka a Japanese defender is a really skillful player.
Well because as nice as the hall and the whole facility is, COS OPO Spała is basically a national center for Olympic sports.
It is surrounded by woods and placed next to the small city called Spała. There is no local interest and you have to travel far to get there ...
So I have been there...
Ok, on the internetz people say its medium ... maybe ... Important thing is, the catapult is not as big, helps control over the net.
@NextLevel how fast is your Inca? With those MX-Ses it must be a rocket there ... ; )
If you gain the power away from the table by means of a faster rubber, you need to be prepared to loose control close to the table or over the net ... as simple as that. I just switched from barracuda to acuda s2 and back to barracuda again (bh).
@Maybe Acuda s2 ... medium sponge, quite medium...
Once we tried to count just like in the "big tennis" 15, 30, 40, gems, sets ......... no way : ) it just did not work somehow.
11 is better, check how players concentrate before serves today - I like it. Before they did not pay as much attention, it was a bit lousy ...
