  1. Looking for help choosing new blade in off- region

Sorry if I sounded too principal probably. I just wanted to calm you down a little. Nothing to add to Thomas's post below. Just ... don't worry about what any amateur-advance-pro-CNT_memeber say about Vega Intro. Listen to Fabian/Carl. Even if VI will turn out to be too slow for you, you'll...
  2. Looking for help choosing new blade in off- region

Belugma ... why don't you buy two setups: 1. Promirac + 2 Vega Intro, precisely what Fabian told you. 2. Whatsoever you wish. Now start practicing, playing and you'll see what you like better. I've been through a lot and trust me, when I read Fabian's posts - he knows what he is saying. Buy...
  3. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

Is my understanding correct (I'm a bit of a layman here), that ITTF rules specially those pertaining to the equipment apply to: 1. Events organized by the ITTF ("World Tour" like events, National Teams events, WTTT(T)C, WTC etc. 2. In Europe team competitions organized under ETTU. Basically...
  4. Are you playing against Timo Boll?

I guess kid against Aruna fell heavily into the category: A. I'm playing against Timo 1. I'm loosing points while counting to three. 2. Aruna controls rallies while simultaneously reproducing the Picasso painting. I've been there. Felt ambushed ... no memories at all, just constant wondering...
  5. MX-S vs. H3N

Sorry to barge into your question again Amoc, but as for the OVA - yes, yes and yes ... (look to the left, if using the desktop). Well I use 2.0. The description OhWell cited is more or less true, but to answer your question: - MX-S was simply uncontrollable on my TB ALC, just too fast. I heard...
  6. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

Give those Europeans H3N and you'll see after few years ... ha ha ; )
  7. World Team Cup 2018 | Training Hall Footage

I was gonna say ... yeah, nice angles when filming matches too. Thanks again Dan, great vlog!
  8. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

This is actually an interesting way to approach the subject. I'll give it a thought. @If H3 National was as easy available as Tenergy, there wouldn't be any grounds to hint about the F1 ...
  9. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

While staying with the "Formula 1" notion ... Here is another testimony, this time from the World Champion (Chiba City 1991) Starting 15:50 and about 5 minutes long. https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/podcast/12411-tabletennisdaily-podcast-9-jorgen-persson/ PS. I don't have time now to...
  10. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

I would not just simply assume - more or less - that Simon does not know what he is talking about. Perhaps he wanted to say something else, that European players do not have as much support as China players have. Not only ML, FZD are better athletes but they also have all the industrial and...
  11. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

I'll let go the face thing : ) Carl are you seriuos?! This is a fantastic piece of table tennis history you wrote about, Marty Reisman situation. Never knew it was such a hostility and war between "hardbats and sponges" ... Would you hate me, if I created a thread like "Shakespearians vs...
  12. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

Dima used it for bh right? Sure technique is a different world. Simon said it himself: "I'm not sure if we would be able to play with it". It's just it shows that also top pro like Simon feels it is a Formula 1 situation. Well ... he played a full match with the opponent with "a better...
  13. Looking for help choosing new blade in off- region

As much as I like your comment, please don't mess with Belugma's head : ) Let him figure it out for himself. Primorac is the blade to start. Euro or Jap - at this stage - he can just throw a dice. If Belugma really knew what type of game he wants to play, I would be safe to say: if you want to...
  14. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

Ok going back to the topic. What do you think about Simon Gauzy's comment than? https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/podcast/11994-tabletennisdaily-podcast-5-simon-gauzy/ 15:50 - 17:10
  15. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

I'll try to repeat it again : ) - comments and discussion about hardbats here basically hijacks the thread - I agree. It is true - it's just so funny how much confusion is going on here for me ... ha ha : ) Yes of course, I am naive here, in a sense that I too like the idea about today's...
  16. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

NextLevel, I know "Mrs/Miss" Berndtjgmann only from this thread, and I rather find his comments very funny here, just as Carl and others did. But - I'll repeat it once again - hardbat's topic is little off this thread's topic - I agree.
  17. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

Well if I understand it correctly Berndtjgmann was simply asking what is so appealing of today's game as compared to the Victor Barna's epoch - quite innocent dilemma - seem to me. A matter of taste I would say ... Sure ... maybe it is slightly off the topic ...

Agree our discussion is probably off the topic a little. But in itself it is quite funny and interesting - don't you think? I very much appreciate your comments too. The history you wrote about wasn't really mine, so ... I wouldn't want to be prejudiced too - I hope you see what I mean. For sure...
  19. European Players & Tacky Rubbers

Of course the accessibility is not the biggest issue, it is one of the biggest as G_ZHANG explained. But to show where I got the idea from, just listen to Dan's podcast with Simon Gauzy below. GUYS this is interesting...
  20. Looking for help choosing new blade in off- region

Welcome in the "club" my man - have a donut! A long way in front of you ... : ) I play in a league. This season I basically played every match with a bit different bh rubber. Once or two I even had a different blade. I think this is why my performance in general is a little lower than it should...
