Haha, then have him play an adult!
  2. Bat handle types

Yeah, kinda like that one. I had a K. Kreanga blade with a handle like that, but it snapped. The grip was pretty comfortable.. kinda wish I could try it on some other blades.
  3. Fred at 8

Hmm, are you worried the camera may become distracting? Or are you not allowed to film his matches? o.O
  4. How good are these youngsters!

Another thing, that kid in black is amazing at lobbing. I've never seen a little kid lob so well... it's crazy.
  5. How good are these youngsters!

The little kid in black's backhand opening is AMAZING. Or at least it LOOKS very clean and amazing. I love how he squats down before the point and only his eyes are left peering over the table. XD
  6. What are you playing now?

Forget playing, I've been rewatching Dragonball Z. They recut and remastered DBZ and re-released it as Dragonball Kai. Ahh... I miss being a kid.
  7. Spanish Open 2011

Meh, I wanted Lee Jung Woo to win. XD Would've been a long shot. Or even longer, Chen Chien-An. Woo~! Go Taiwan! XD
  8. Bat handle types

I love Flared. It's funny, when I hold a straight handle, I'm so used to FL, my brain thinks the ST handle is shaped so that it's sharper at the end, like an inverted FL. Also, have you all ever seen those crooked handles? With like... a designated forehand side? Those.... were comfy. I dunno...
  9. Ma Lin`s biggest rival?

Yes, that certainly cost him a good deal of matches... and money, too. He played like sheeit for a good while. Meh, Ma Lin's getting old. So I'd have to agree WLQ or other players who shared his primer years are/were his greatest rival. Like... you wouldn't same Pete Sampras's greatest rival...
  10. Fast Distance Table Tennis

Hmmm... you need to create the spin if you want to land the ball, you need to have the "smash" if you want the ball to travel far enough. Just stand back and practice, it's always the best approach to learning anything. Well, once you have a basic idea of what needs to be done.
  11. Ma Long... what happnd to him??

Simple, he hurt his foot. The Chinese want him to recover, put him on break, and he's still not 100% back. Kind of slower than before I'd say. I think he'll be back with us in a few months, hopefully in time for WTTC.
  12. Xu Xin Multi Ball

It kind of makes me sad how important multi-balling is to being good at the sport. It's not like in tennis where there's more room for pure genius and talent, and will power I guess. Not to say there's not genius, talent and etc. in TT, just hard core practice and muscle memory seems to make a...
  13. how to improve service ?? esp. short and high spin

Something I tell myself mentally when I serve: I don't want to hit the ball in the direction I want it to go, I want the rubber to grab the ball in the direction I want it to go, so all my force is being used to spin the ball, not dink it forward. Dunno if this helps, but that's just what I think.
  14. Shibaev gets a donut in the 4th set

Two things, 1. I thought he literally like... had a donut in the middle of the match.... as a like.. energy bar or something. ROFL. 2. He still won... so... Blaszczyk still didn't finish the job. : /
  15. Fred at 8

Curiously, what equipment is he using?
  16. He Zhi Wen Service

Haha, also... Schlager's pretty old himself. XD But those are some incredible serves. All about speed and placement.
  17. Austin TT Winter Open 2011

Here are some of my videos of a USATT Sanctioned tournament in Austin, TX: Point of the tournament, from Open Singles Semi-Final: Open Singles Quarter-Final - Chance Friend vs Jingwen Hui: Open Singles Semi-Final - Chance Friend vs Tuan Tran: Open Singles Final - Timothy Wang vs...
  18. Table Tennis in Texas

Figured I'd give this a bump since Timmy Wang is now the 2010 US National Champion! Woot~ go Timmy!
  19. English Open 2011

I have one comment about this entire tournament: **** yeah, go Chen Qi! Oh, I thought of another: ROFL, DOUBLE CHOP BLOCK FTW IN SEVENTH GAME DEUCE?
  20. German Open 2011

I want to see the match between Chen Qi and Ma Lin! Where is it. D: Last year, Chen Qi played Timo and won 4-3 at German Open, no footage. This year, he lost 3-4 to Ma Lin, no footage again. Boo! I wanted Chen Qi to have a shot at Timo. XD
