  1. Ask Dimitrij Ovtcharov!

Hey Dimitrij, congrats on your Olympic medals! I'd like to ask a question about your game... Many people say your best "weapon" is your service...But which aspect of your game do you consider the best? And is there anything you really want to improve?
  2. Olympic Table Tennis Events - no doubles?

I prefer the Team event as well. Although it's fun to see surprising combinations (like Maze/Tugwell), I don't think everyone would take a doubles event too seriously. Players like Boll, Ovtcharov, Mizutani,.. They'll probably just focus on the singles.*
  3. wang liqin wttc 2011

Wang Liqin used that shirt a couple times. So does Chen Qi: Maybe it's made of a different material, I don't know.

  5. London 2012 Olympic Ball - Auction!

Wow the current bid is 150 pounds already! I know there are several real collectors of different TT-balls. I wanted to gather them as well when I were younger, but there are too many of them haha. By the way there are balls from other matches as well, check it out by choosing 'Table Tennis'...
  6. Ma Long not invited - World Cup 2012

The Asian Cup winner gets invited, but not the Asian Championships winner... Who's idea is that? If they continue this way of auto-selecting players, then Zhang Jike and Xu Xin might as well win every World Cup and WTTC till they're too old.
  7. chinese shirts

Searching for "li ning shirt" or "li ning china" at ebay.com usually gives you the latest national shirts. but sites like eacheng usually have them as well.*
  8. China Open 2012 - ITTF World Tour

Didn't expect Boll to play a tournament right after the Olympics...He must be feeling well physically. Also Ovtcharov has a unlucky seedig being the 9th player...

  11. August World Rankings 2012

Now that the Olympics Games are over (wow, it all went by so fast!), it's time for the ITTF to release the August World Rankings... --- Grand Slammer Zhang Jike still World No.1--- Zhang Jike managed to win the WTTC, Men's Singles World Cup AND the Olympic Games in the past year and a...
  12. TTDaily members and TT in 2012-13 season

Yeah most universities have their own table tennis club and so does mine. But I checked their teams and it's all pretty much below my level. There's also a bigger club near my house with players of my level so I'd rather try my luck there. It's too late to sign up for the next season anyway so...
  13. TTDaily members and TT in 2012-13 season

I'm starting at the university this year and have to move to another city so I won't do competitions this season.. Might continue after the winter if I can find a team.
  14. Post video's Olympic Games 2012

It's a free program (google it) that gives you a temporary English IP address (so that BBC's site thinks you're Britain). You can just turn it on/off whenever you want to watch videos there. Name is ExpatShield by the way. :p
  15. Post video's Olympic Games 2012

Turn ExpatShield on (it should show a green shield at the bottom right of your screen) before you go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/olympics/2012/sports/table-tennis, or else you won't see the video links. At the right there's the Table Tennis Schedule. Click a day and then underneath it will...
  16. London 2012 Olympics (Teams)

Why did Hongkong setup Leung as the first player against Germany? Tang Peng and Jiang Tainyi are playing way better.. Blocking and some weak loops was all he could do against Boll. Not that I care but it's like Germany would setup Steger as their first player.
  17. London 2012 Olympics (Teams)

I didn't even watch Women's Team matches. :p I've only checked the end of Japan-Singapore because I heard about the team crying and stuff.
  18. London 2012 Olympics (Prize Draw)

Gold: China Silver: Korea Rep. Bronze: Hongkong
  19. London 2012 Olympics (Teams)

When I saw the line-up before the match I thought it would be exactly the same as at the WTTTC but Ovtcharov is playing way better now.. EDIT: Wow Ovtcharov was playing great untill 1-1/9-9, he missed a high ball and after that it was all over..
  20. Post video's Olympic Games 2012

I don't know. But those borders in Mitz's videos seem to be some sort of bypass. I've seen people do that with TV animation series as well. Mirroring the video will probably have the same effect, but that won't be a good solution. :p
