  1. Henzell's New Table Tennis Endeavour!

There is a cool video that I think Henzell loaded onto youtube himself, with him playing against Wang Liqin

yeah, poor Ma Lin, I am pretty sure he won't be playing in the next world championships. This was probably his last chance. For someone who has accomplished so much, and who is getting older, the drive to practice for another two years, especially considering that as you get older you have to...

Zhang Jike seems to do well against Ma Lin and Xu Xin, plays roughly evenly against Wang Hao, but really badly against Ma Long, and relatively badly against Wang Liqin. Most areas of his game are now better than WLQ's, but I guess since he is a power orientated player, its hard to play against...

Sigh, poor Ma Lin and his grand slam.... I had really wished that he would get it Of the two remaining matches, I agree with what was said earlier, that they could go both ways easily. I am hoping WLQ and Chen Qi come out on top.
  5. Results at WTTC 2011

haha, yeah.... WLQ is my favorite player ever!!!! though in this particular world championships, my ideal outcome would be Ma Lin getting his grand slam, but if not that, then I would want WLQ to win it.

I don't know, I think Chen Qi vs. Samsonov is pretty even, Chen Qi while his winning percentage against samsonov and boll are not as high as some of the other elite Chinese players, I think he still beats them well enough that it really just is a matter of who is performing better or worse on...

Wang Liqin still got it baby!!!! He always tends to shine in the world championships.

That Ma Long match against Tokic was pretty tight. Definitely made Ma Long work for it. I wouldn't be surprised if Shibaev beat Samsonov.
  9. My day 1 @ WTTC 2011!

haha, boner means an erection in the US.
  10. My day 1 @ WTTC 2011!

No words? If you are like the average table tennis enthusiasts, a boner will suffice.... rofl jk
  11. Who were your very first TT idols?

Going into High school was when I first really really got interested in table tennis. I had played some before, but it wasn't until hs that it became like my number 1 hobby. And during that time, Wang Liqin was in his prime/entering his prime. He had long stretches of being number one.
  12. Training Videos at WTTC 2011

I am sure he will be fine. I think technically, you perform the best right after the day you rest from a super grueling workout. When I ran track, the coaches would make us train a ton 2 days before a meet, and then the day before, you just mostly rested or had a really casual practice, then the...
  13. My day 1 @ WTTC 2011!

haha, that is so cool. Do you have connections to meet these people in person? or is it just not that hard to come across them in public?
  14. Results at WTTC 2011

Chances don't look good for Boll.... to get to the Finals he will have to beat Chen Qi, Xu Xin and Zhang Jike. Boll against Chen Qi is almost a 50:50 chance, Boll probably wins slightly more. But he has never beat Xu Xin, and despite beating ZJK in their 2nd to last meeting, he got beat pretty...
  15. Messi play's Table Tennis

Don't diss the drink man!! haha Chinese mass produced drinks actually tend to have a better combination of health and taste than their counter parts in other countries
  16. Difference between black rubbers and red rubbers???

From my understanding, there is absolutely no difference between whether a rubber is black or red. You can make the rubber and give it whatever properties you want, and what color you want it is a matter of preference. You can make a black rubber in the same way you make a red one and vice...
  17. Results at WTTC 2011

Until they release the official bracket, its probably a crap shoot guessing who will win with even the slightest idea. All the Chinese can beat each other on any given day, and some have strengths against a particular other Chinese player, and that will ultimately effect how the tournament plays out
  18. Results at WTTC 2011

Yeah so true, some times things just occur, a weaker player maybe having a great day, while a stronger player is having a bad one. I don't think anyone has a chance of winning this other than the Chinese players and Boll. Maybe Mizutani if he somehow gets insanely lucky.
  19. Messi play's Table Tennis

haha, China, like everywhere else in the world but the US loves football. I love watching Messi, his dribbling skills are second to none atm.
  20. Chinese Men's WTTC Trials 2011

Yeah, that would just be awesome if Ma Lin was able to win. He deserves it. His style of play is so taxing on the body, and yet his mastery of the penhold style has been unparalleled. Seeing his reaction after winning the Olympics was great, seeing him in teams walking up to his main coach to...
