I don't think luck is needed. You create your own destiny. If you want it bad enough and work hard enough you will make it, I don't think luck is really a factor :)

I used to do multiball maybe 10-15% of the time. I recognise it's benefits but essentially I prefer to train with training partners. In saying that this year I have done no multiball training mainly because I have had a few setbacks with my health. I'll be looking into doing more multiball next...

You are forgetting that if domestic players have to compete with Chinese imports to make the national team then they really have to raise the bar, this is the case for us in NZ we have a very strong Chinese player here and if our NZ number 1 can raise his level to be able to beat that opponent...

I remember going out and playing a really bad first set against someone when i was playing overseas for the national team and I can't even repeat what my coach said to me, I wasn't impressed put it that way lol
