Welcome all Newbies to TTD. Looking forward to your posts. Have a good time while here. [Emoji106]
  3. DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial Blue Sponge Review

Well, the sponge is a bit softer and a little more lively and it still had/has the old topsheet without the ITTF numbers on it. But it's way too soft to be boosted. I like Nittaku's QC though. Bought two rubbers and they were pretty much the same. Some say in terms of quality it's close to a...
  4. European Cadets Champion 1984 against European Cadets Champion 1984 !

Thanks for sharing this with us. [Emoji106]

Maybe you should make a video where you try receiving Pär's serves and post it here...
  8. World Tour Grand Finals 2016

German website mytischtennis.de reports that Liu Shiwen has been suspended by King Kong (Linghui) and has been scratched from the list because of missing the World Cup in the last minute. http://www.mytischtennis.de/public/international/8750/suspendiert--liu-shiwen-darf-nicht-zu-den-grand-finals...
  9. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I think i can agree with many things written, and since Arch doesn't get any coaching he will probably have an easier time using non-tacky Euro/japanese rubbers but nevertheless i think it's mostly a matter of preference, 'cause there is not only one correct approach to this, as many ways lead...
  10. DHS Hurricane 3 Neo Provincial Blue Sponge Review

Thanks for sharing this with us, Keenan. Nice review. I think this is on point. Couldn't agree more. I've played the Nittaku H3 Version before i switched to the H3N National and use my Provincial H3 mostly for multiball and robot usage and have made pretty much the same observations. [Emoji2]...
  11. European Cadets Champion 1984 against European Cadets Champion 1984 !

Wow. What an amazing match!! Jean-Michel still has it. I wanted to see him win, but Sipos played extraordinarily well. Quite a few times He was just waiting for JM's slow openings to kill them directly. Also nice backhand. OMG!! That backhand bang-bang @00:46 [EMOJI15]
  12. Black Friday Sales

    Wow. That was quick. [Emoji6]
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I have a slightly different opinion on this topic. Actually i even think it's vice versa. See typical Euro/japanese rubbers will do a lot of the work for one whereas with typical chinese rubbers you have to do the work yourself, especially from a step behind the table. With a Euro/japanese you...
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Certainly mate. Actually it's just lying around collecting dust.... errr, almost. Keeping it in a Ziploc-bag. The topsheet should still be quite okay... Just send me pm whenever you feel like it. Meanwhile you could pour on a few drops of oil onto your rubbers, if the wear becomes worse.
  15. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Excellent, Carl. Or he could also try use his other hand. Would be good in many ways.
  16. Share your Racket's Photo

These pics are pieces of art. Lovely! [Emoji106]
  17. German League 2016/2017

That second cam should become mandatory. The angle is just so much better. Thanks for sharing, TTLondon2012
  18. Changes in Table Tennis

That´s nothing new. ITTF is trying this since the eighties or even further back. Well observed. Probably 'cause the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence...
  19. Changes in Table Tennis

Couldn´t agree more. Seeing or playing against those chops that are nearly as fast as a smash or a drive i don´t want to miss... again... loopers will have a much easier time adapting IMHO, because the trajectory of a Loop over the table or a flip is most of the times curvy and arcing...
  20. Changes in Table Tennis

So to fully understand my rudeness: It's totally appropriate for you to call out Arch, that his playing level isn't high enough to comprehend what is written, but when i tell the same thing to you, it's RUDE?? Alrighty then...
