it's worlds apart from infinity vps. despite the coating on the infinity, it doesn't feel really that stiff. infinity is slower by a mile compared to the emerald and lacks power in shots.

im biased more towards intensity. it loops very well and if you are a spinner, i suggest you get it. clipper is also very good and is faster.

a few tips: 1. learn how to brush or graze the ball upon contact during a loop. 2. open your blade more when doing loop vs. underspin (sometimes this is the simple solution) 3. because you are hitting the ball using more of the sponge instead of brushing it with the topsheet with less sponge...

having tried all the maxxxx and rhyzm versions i would say maxxx rubbers are easier to spin and rhyzm series are built mainly for speed and counter hitting.

tested and tried both Rakza 7 & 9 when Yasaka Japan sent me the 2 rubbers last week. The Rakza 9 has less spin than the Rakza 7 but R9 is faster by 10-15 percent and is more like a hitting, smashing and counterhitting rubber. its better than R7 far from the table. I find it has above average...
