  1. Multi ball with Celluloid balls bad idea?

wow thanks for all the replies. Honestly these new plastic balls are a headache. They sell the Tibhar 40+ ones at my club so I use those, but then if I play with someone else and use their ball it plays quite different sometimes. Someone had the Nittaku one which was WAAAY different. There was 1...
  2. Multi ball with Celluloid balls bad idea?

I am just wondering if it's a bad idea to do multi ball training with Celluloid balls. Like what are the negatives? I still have my training celluloid balls from before I stopped playing TT which I used for multi ball. I want to know if I need to really invest in the new plastic balls or if I...
  3. The Pro's Equipment - Discussion!

Anyone know what Truls Moregard uses on BH as he switches when smashing
  4. Chopper vs attacker in final of Bristol Junior open 4 star event Dec 2017

Thats some good shhh right there. Very tense. Is he using long pips on BH? the way he chops a no spin ball it seems like he puts a decent amount of backspin. you can see the boys are quite nervous though I bet they usually play a lot better
  5. Short pips on FH

could do. Or could go for 1.9/2.0 even for more attacks
  6. Short pips on FH

The friendship 802-40 with 1.5 sponge should do the job. What sponge are you using on your super fx right now? Coz a 1.5 should be able to chop consistently with it too while allowing better serves and better opening spin ups if ever you want to change your game up, or even mid distance...
  7. First Bat Advice please

oh you did? sorry then I would have just quoted it, there were just quite a few responses here not quite on topic so I stopped scrolling through :P my bad
  8. First Bat Advice please

or even better, this one. Same good rubbers, blade is solid. This can take you all the way if you decide to go to a real club and get competitive or train properly. Nice and cheap only £25! such a bargain, i feel it suits exactly what you're asking right now...
  9. First Bat Advice please

Do yourself a big favour and just get this. Nice and cheap, gives a bat case, does the job. When and if it wears out or if you feel you need something else more specific to your game, then look into more specific websites and forums. I'm sure a lot of people can vouch for this bat...
  10. First Bat Advice please

What blade is this? Not the OFF Butterfly one right? Stick to something in the allround section. Use teesport website, tick the allround, tick Butterfly/stiga/donic and choose one from there. As for rubbers tbh I would definitely not recommend ESN or rubbers meant to replace speed glue for...
  11. First Bat Advice please

Check out this website, its in UK. http://www.teessport.com/ look for Allround section in Blades. I recommend the Stiga ALL classic. Rubbers can go for 'yasaka Mark V' with 1.8 or 2.0 sponge. or 'Butterfly Sriver L' 1.7/1.9. can also try the chinese rubber 'Friendship 729 super' in the 2.0...
  12. DHS NEO vs non NEO

Oh really, I didn't know that. Interesting. So both unboosted and unglued are actually different sponges. I always thought the 'Factory Tuned' on the package meant they added a layer of booster or small tuning or something before sealing the sponge to keep the effect in. So ultimately if you use...
  13. DHS NEO vs non NEO

Apologies if this has been asked or covered before. Basically I want to know if anyone has every tried H3NEO and Regular H3 on the same blade same colour. Could be any NEO actually just used H3 as example. Although I have played both regular H3 and NEO I have never tested them together properly...
  14. Hurricane 3 NEO

5 out of 5 rating for Hurricane 3 NEO I DO NOT boost this rubber and have been playing with H3NEO Domestic 39deg version for about 1 year changing the sheet once (first sheet is still very playable). I am an all-rounded player who prefers to play 1-3ft from table. This rubber allows me to vary...
  15. Tenergy for "BEGINNER"

You have a point. But who starts out using such equipment  I have only ever seen new starters playing with premade beginner bats usually ALL blades with Sriver or flextra type rubbers. After around 3-6months thats when I see (usually from recommendations by the coach) they settle with an...
  16. Hurricane 3 NEO

Review by 'Ndragon' on item 'Hurricane 3 NEO'

I DO NOT boost this rubber and have been playing with H3NEO Domestic 39deg version for about 1 year changing the sheet once (first sheet is still very playable). I am an all-rounded player who prefers to play 1-3ft from table. This rubber allows me to vary the spin when I want and also flat hit...
  17. Tenergy for "BEGINNER"

I honestly believe with a solid ALL+ blade with Mark V/Sriver/Mendo/friendship 729fx/DHS Neo commercial etc you can start from beginner and go all the way up to challenging premier league players or 2000+ players quite easily before ever feeling like you need certain equipment to advance...
  18. Equipment for close to the table play?

Mark V is a do it all rubber in my opinion with every gear. Can't go wrong with it. I prefer 2.0 though, I have also tried 1.5 on the FH and also found that quite ok. But overall the 1.8 or 2.0 is better imo (never max)
  19. Equipment for close to the table play?

I am an ALL player who prefers to stay 1-3ft from table. I always used H3NEO on FH (playing TG3NEO atm). and chinese tacky on bh. I recently tried T05 fh and 05fx bh. I don't like either of them for close to the table as you can see i put on TG3Neo. and i am planning to go back to Mark V on bh...
  20. Calling all Long pips users for info

I realise its easy for some people and I've seen and glue so many regular rubbers and like 50% or more of the time I mess up a bit lol. I'll just let the shop glue it for me :P
