Ok so based on the shops in UK that have my blade and can glue them on (i'm really not confident to do it myself), I have 2 choices. 388D OX or Friendship 755 0.8mm sponge. :confused:

I've had a look online for what's available in UK that is cheap. I got a choice of the friendship 755, dhs c7/c8 and cloud&fog, dawaei 388d/d1. So what we reckon from those choices. Or do I just pick any really? Or maybe give me the 3 better ones.

I have a H3 NEO I would put on as I have a sheet and that's what I played before. The only rubber I would consider using is Mark V.

Oh sorry I had another question. Again about the Women's team. National, provincial, amateur and all really. Do they boost? Compared to the men? If they don't then why? Would it be because they play closer to the table, or they don't hit as hard?

To be honest you can play any of the DHS NEO rubbers without boosting if you play within 1-3ft from the table most of the time. I haven't boosted any of my chinese rubbers and I even used regular H3 on my BH for a while. But I believe that new H8 rubber has a faster speed glue type sponge...

It is just 1 meaning. Generally if a topsheet is really really spinny it will be really sensitive too. Hard fast spinny loops usually produce more spin, but a very spinny serve can show you just as well. Softer sponge just means the spin and speed of opponents shot will dig in and make contact...

That could possibly be to do with blade difference. I actually started with Mark V both sides on my stiga all classic and I have to say that it is a do it all rubber, i find it very spinny but also quite sensitive to spin. For that reason only I find my setup up now with the Genius and Genius...

Well, as an allround player I put the word control into 2 different categories. 1. With a very active FH or BH and by active I mean always looking to spin and loop and finish points early I find that people often find they have more control with rubbers that can impart more spin on the ball...

I didn't quite do the same. I quit because my bro and cousin drifted out. So I lost my 2 closest buddies who also motivated me the most. Then I had all that passion to use and found Table Tennis :) Hahahaha thanks but I am definitely not that good. But I definitely love it as much as Timo loves...
