Well to say they thank their succes to the speed glue is a little simple. Every player grew up with speed glue, so it is not weird that it fitted their game. And after the speed glue they were a couple of years after their prime, so you can't judge them on that. What you say about WLQ is true...

Very true, they do a lot of flexibility training in order to produce good shots from non-standard positions. Xu Xin is the most obvious example of that.

I get the same thing with any rubber when its warm and moist. Not much you can do apart from wiping the surface of your rubber very often I think. Or maybe try a tacky Chinese rubber. I read that Ma Lin likes to play in a really warm hall. So I guess there is a way to make it work well. xD

I remember being 2-0 down and having lost the first set 11-0, then I won 16-14 in the 5th winning the 4th set 11-0. That was crazy xD

Well I don't like it when people fail to get results under pressure. You should come to the stage and take it, Ma Long had stage fright. I still prefer ZJK of course xD He's more confident and usually more efficient in important points. But Ma Long improved at that, and that is a good thing...
