  1. Wrist snap for backhand

You generate most power with your wrist, but that mostly applies for when you are close to the table. When you are one step back you will need a more full swing.
  2. Ma Lin lost last 64! (Harmony China Open 2011)

@Yosua ur right there, but when low ranked players beat high ranked, I always say talent haha, maybe not correct =p. @dic that is true but in any case Yan An beating one of them is like an extra while for the top-20 players beating Yan An is sort of a must. Even though he is awesome indeed. He...
  3. Amazing moments of table-tennis.

Wow that is really a super impressive level. Especially that last match was epic to watch. Also I'd like to know what kind of rubbers Nordberg uses? I want that sound on my bat xD
  4. A round the net shot from New Zealand for ya :)

That's superb to do that after such an amazing rally.
  5. Ma Lin lost last 64! (Harmony China Open 2011)

It wasn't the only upset in the China Open. What about the matches of Yan An. But I read that Ma Lin was still injured, I couldn't see it in the match though. Obiously Liventsov is very talented because he beat the Korean player in the next round. So with a bit of luck this will be a name to...
  6. China Open 2011 (Harmony)

I think this victory is very important to Ma Long. It proves that he can win big titles and will obviously boost his confidence for future matches. My favourite will always be Zhang Jike though :P But it is nice that Ma Long's hard work pays off.
  7. Worlds Sexiest Female TT Player

U mean the girl or the camera position?
  8. China Open 2011 (Harmony)

I think Ma Lin didn't play that bad, but because his opponent is an unknown player, they haven't been able to analyze his game. Ma didn't know where to play, while Liventsov did.
  9. China Open 2011 (Harmony)

Fukuhara had a lot of trouble with that German defender. I'm glad she won in the end though :D
  10. Interview with Liu Guoliang (old but SO interesting)

The thing that I like the most is that he seems to be able to analyze his own matches while playing from point to point. You really need to keep your cool and make sure to get your mind to the play if you do that. Really impressive.
  11. Carmencita Alexandrescu - Player, ITTF Coach and Umpire

Wow, thanks a lot for this interview Matt. I liked the answer to the 'rivals' question haha. She is the kind of people that want to promote female involvement in TT and that's very good!
  12. TTDaily members playing.

Very nice vid Matt! Great points there. It was kinda confusing that there were no slaps, but then it turned out u saved them till the end of the vid haha. Nice flicks as well, I don't understand why some of those players keep serving short sidespin against u :P
  13. Interview with Liu Guoliang (old but SO interesting)

Hi guys, I ran into this interview with Liu Guoliang from long ago on tabletennisdayton.com. Even though it is from like 10 years ago it contains a very interesting analysis of playing styles and strategies by Liu. It proves he is extremely intelligent, like Boll said. Liu Guoliang Talks About...
  14. Article: Chuang Chih Yuan makes EPIC come back in Chile

That's indeed quite suprising that he only won 2 Pro Tours in his career. He's been a very stable top-20 player for so many years.
  15. Chuang Chih Yuan makes EPIC come back in Chile

  16. Kreanga & Joo Se Hyuk Training

edit: wait it is in 2009, nevermind haha. Great video though!
  17. TT London Night Club

Yea it is a great concept. And there is always a chance that people having fun find out they have a hidden talent and start playing in a club more serious xD. Although it will be too late for them to reach the world top (assuming there are no 6-year olds) it can really help to change people's...
  18. With some luck a tt World top 50 player will join this forum! ;)...

Maybe some of them visit the forum already but don't post :P Who knows..
  19. This Weekend 19/08/2011

    Good luck Matt :)
  20. Check Out These Points !

That match between Matsudaira and Ma Lin is one of the best ever. Also Tokic-Ma Long deserved a 7th game xD. Great video, thanks for sharing!
