Better a white shirt than a white shorts. That is really awful to play against, shirts don't really bother me actually. It will only be the background when u get a higher ball, but if ur opponents hits a bit close over the net the backgrounds will be the shorts.

I think the national teams of countries train in the same hall a lot, men and women. Do the women get a different training regime/excercises than men? And if so, what is the difference?

The mens ranking is also dominated by Asians, Ovcharov being the 3rd non-Asian player at 15. But for women it is 'worse' indeed. Relatively few women outside Asia play table tennis anyway I think.
