To be honest, Japan doesn't lose much by sending Ito, Hirano and Ishikawa. They are all playing well at the moment even if their results aren't as groundbreaking as one might expect. Their chances against China might marginally improve if Hayata goes, but that isn't saying much unless Ito-Hayata...

I always had the impression that this year's T2 series was simply Grand Finals broken up into 3 mini events. *shrug* Hope Ishikawa will be able to take the opportunity to oust Zhu. But barring any shocking upsets I doubt we'll be seeing anything other than an all-Chinese semi-finals.
