  1. NBlades

    Very pretty blade!!!
  2. Stiff soft blade with low throw

Isn't throw determined by the rubber? Slower soft carbon blade with pretty good speed: Tibhar Fortino performance. I assume Primorac carbon is too fast for you?
  3. Youtube channel : Chinese Amateur Players

Yes try: @tabletennisypp8615 And here is one video. You can see the links to other video's. They are basically exhibition matches (but with prize money I believe). Provincial players. And some former pro's v.s. very good amateur players. Some play traditional penhold with short pips. Very...
  4. Just trying to teach my 6 year old.

My purlicue does not touch the blade. That allows more wrist movement. However, I guess it is ok to get his purlicue to touch the blade to lock in the wrist a bit. And then as he gets more and more advanced, he can choose to hold the paddle deeper or shallower. His forehand looks good to me...
  5. Neottec X5 vs Rakza 7

That is pretty much the only review on X5 I am aware of. I have played with Katana, Hinomi-M and Hinomi-S. They are very good quality. I have Katana on a carbon blade right now. I do feel Katana despite its low price does have a little tensor feel to it. In general, most people would just...

Lol, I think Gozo's coach likes to joke with him and Gozo simply passes on the jokes to you. I get what Gozo's coach is saying but it does not need to be said in such a complicated manner! :)
  7. Sanwei target national new version

Haha...I am glad you like Sanwei Target National. It is just an easy rubber to use. Again I don't know how to describe it. Straight out of the package, it is ready (not boosting required). But that's also why I stopped my trials of hybrid rubber at K1 European and K2. I know there are other...
  8. Rhyzen Fire

Lol, I just bought both Fire and Vega X today. I guess I have to "ice" the fire rubber for a while and try Vega X first (pun intended). Both were on promo sales at Dandoy. I could not help to buy a couple of them to get free shipping to North America. I have never used a Joola rubber nor a Xiom...
  9. I made a Timo Boll ALC Cybershape

I agree. Don't make a small headized cybershape! The whole point of cybershape is that it extends the sweet spot/playing surface by 11%. But cutting into a round shaped paddle, you are cutting out the playing surface significantly!

I still like SPW. I own 8 of them after all. I use flare so not sure about how the straight handle feels. I really do think that you can add a faster or slower rubber on SPW and it will do anything for you. Honestly I have one SPW with tenergy 05fx on the FH and 64 fx on the BH. The set-up is...

  12. Hello from Pisa

One of my club mate used to play tennis (and coaches other kids tennis during summer camp). Then when he turned 20, he was shown to do topsin and loops in table tennis. Immediately he was hooked!!!! coming from the tennis background he progressed very quickly but he also played 5-6 days a week...
  13. Some of my today training footage

How old are you? When did you start playing. I am 100% disagreeing with other coaches who say, if you did not start from childhood, you should play flat until you are rated 2000 at USATT level to start spinning. That is completely incorrect. I agree with your coach that spin is everything...
  14. Some of my today training footage

I am 178 cm so I understand what you are saying. Yes squat down a lot lower. It is hard to do anything if you don't get enough sleep!
  15. Hello from Pisa

Table tennis is not more popular because the initial learning curve is high. I mean if you want to hit the ball upward with the hard bat (i.e. no sponge) and play ping pong that way, many people can still enjoy it. But once you add sponge and the spin, it does then turn off a lot of beginners...
  16. Purchase equipment's from CHINA TABLE TENNIS Store

Good feedback. Now we know not to buy from China Table Tennis store on Aliexpress. Recently I placed a $100 order (a bunch of different rubbers such as Yinhe and Loki and Mecury that I cannot get anywhere else than from Aliexpress) from BEO store on Aliexpress. No problem whatsoever. But that...
  17. Tibhar Hybrid line-up

I have tried K1 Euro version and K2 (K2 before TT11 discontinued it). I spent a lot more time on K2, and I have neglected my K1. Both have some catapult effects. I really liked my K2 when I tried it. You can clearly tell it is tensor. The grip is good. I come from H3 neo boosted rubber on my...
  18. Some of my today training footage

Thank you for sharing your videos from Kiev. Hope all is well (despite bombs going off here and there even while you were playing). Your forms look great! The training videos I see seem to suggest you are just a bit rusty. The balls were not consistent due to timing and angle issues with the...
  19. Turning Tables - Discussion on Table characteristics

Growing up, the tournaments were played on Butterfly tables, and those tables, in the 1990's, were slippery with low bounce. I had a hard time at the tournament. I have a Butterfly Europa at home and the club uses Butterfly Centerfold. Those seem to play fine. I have also played on Joola 2500...

I have a red K1 Euro on the forehand side of a Tibhar Samsonov Pro Black. It is not bad. I have not played with that blade too much lately. But I can see what you mean by mushy and vauge. I have officially ditched Tibhar Stratus Power Wood and switched to a composite blade. Forehand back to H3...
