  1. Thoughts on Rakza 7 on Timo Boll ALC?

I am in the transition from Falck W7 to Falck carbon and have been playing around with R7. For me it is meh on my FH, but on my backhand R7 is absolutely awesome and plays like a rocket with the right stroke. I have no idea why.
  2. Inverted player - Embarking on long pips journey with ALC Blade

Good luck. I recommend picking a LP and sticking with it. Don't waste time searching for the perfect LP and blade combination-you will never find it.
  3. Yasaka Falck Carbon and W7 Blades Review

First Ma Lin, now no Falck? What is going on with you Yasaka?
  4. Rubber packaging artwork

This is every parents worst nightmare: Daughter or son go to college and come back saying they are majoring in graphic design with a focus on table tennis packaging equipment and an minor in marketing with a focus on table tennis rubber names.
  5. What should i do?

Yes. Does not matter much imo. I prefer Revolution.
  6. What's the weight of your setup and what's the ideal weight of your setup?

I prefer 180 +/- 3 or so now that I am double inverted. With exact same blade and rubbers I can feel a clear increase in power with higher weight, but my reaction is slower and my control goes down.
  7. What should i do?

i often just put glue on that area and NOT totally remove if the rest looks fine
  8. Best Chinese sticky rubbers that don't need boosting

I am not sure if Gambler X3 diamond gold label made the list, but it should be here as well.
  9. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

I see WAY more G1 with my opponents at the club and at tournaments than Genextion.
  10. Yasaka Rakza 7 Hard

Looks like 47-52 degrees hardness if I read it right. I do love the R7 topsheet. I will have to give it a try. I also agree with the comment that it may be quite heavy.
  11. Victas 2026 Catalog

Can anyone tell use what rating is what in the blades? There are 3 ratings which I assume are comparative rating of speed, spin and control? Does anyone know what they are from top to bottom? tia
  12. Koki Niwa carbon blades older, ZC inner, ZC (outer)

Any one compared the Victas Koki Niwa carbon blades-the older 4 carbon and the newer ZC and newest ZC inner? Interested in flex and hard/soft feeling comparisons. tia . If you haven't tried I will take what you know about any of the three.
  13. Review: Sanwei Surge Prism Inner Carbon Blade

93 grams!!!! Where are the sub 85 gram blades when you need 'em?
  14. Only 1 coach or hire more coaches?

Oh to have the luxury of having more than one coach or of having to pick a coach. I would settle for a coach. Anything. Don't have one available (more than another club member offering suggestions) for more than 100 miles in any direction.
  15. Yasaka Rakza Series.

I have used RX the most and R7 less so. On my blades RX is not a low throw. I find RX to be very similar to G1 in terms of feel.
  16. What difference does sponge thickness make to hybrid rubbers?

I think it is about total weight of your set up and some degree of control. Fast blade speed is good (knowing kinetic energy is more dependent of velocity. KE = 1/2 * m * v^2 At my club almost everyone plays with max sponge.
  17. Variations within the same blade model

If you want two blades to be as close to the same as possible, you have to go custom and order two at the same time and talk with your builder so they can use adjacent pieces of wood and know what you want. I see variation is every blade that I have more than one. For commercial blades the...
  18. table tennis variables

Lots of posts on all types of variables in table tennis-balls, rubber, blades, etc. I see very little discussion on table tennis tables. We have mainly Joola 3000 tables at the club, but also a stiga 30 mm optima table (which is generally the preference of most of our players-an excellent...
  19. Is there a subjectively perfect weight to every blade?

I am sure there is an optimal weight for each blade, but I also think there are optimal weights for the player and the rubber set-up. Having recently gone from LP on one side with max sponge inverted on the other (total weights of 170-175 grams) I am now double inverted with 2.0 sponge on my...
