  1. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

The one thing we know is that Chen Xingtong plays dead bur is never dead... you have to stab her three times and then cut off the head for good measure. And then burn the body to make sure she doesn't eat you alive in zombie form.
  2. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

I suspect they will find money to get Zhang Rui to unretire.
  3. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

Poor Xunyao. Did Mima just end her career?
  4. ITTF-Pan American Cup-2025

While he is going to kose, he probably made the same point to himself that I made in the other thread. The rating is not playing the match.
  5. ITTF-Pan American Cup-2025

Yeah - lots of countries with not so strong players. It's all relative, some countries would say that about the US lol...
  6. Feedback on my League games

This is technically true but a bad mental and tactical approach to table tennis. Mindset matters so gor him to play to win, he needs to believe on some level that he can win. What that means to him is not for you or me to decide. It is decided on the table. Not by the ratings. And you never...
  7. Europe Top-16 Cup 2025

Thr funny thing about Habesohn is that in my memory, the best parts of his career are when he was past his prime... so... same with Franziska for example...

  10. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

I find it interesting that Hina would have played Odo and Harimoto would have played Cho had they won their groups. They got bad matchups but reasonably the best they might have hoped for. I don't see Hina winning though but Harimoto couldn't have drawn a better opponent regardless of result.
  11. ITTF-Pan American Cup-2025

Her is returning Brian's serve well and that makes a huge difference when playing Brian.
  12. ITTF-Pan American Cup-2025

Yes. I didn't think Sid had a chance and am happy he won a game. I laughed when Mark initially called him the favorite and then changed that to the crowd favorite lol.
  13. Feedback on my League games

Speaking specifically to Zezima, you need to develop adaptable technique by testing swing paths in response to different spins. Your backhand probably used a little too much forearm and wrist together to generate spin for optimal control. You should be able to get almost everything from the...
  14. Feedback on my League games

Anyone who will train serve return on long and half long balls with the forehand extensively will get a major jump in playing level really quickly because there are so many opportunities that show up in matches below USATT 2000 that don't get utilized because people lack the skills. You don't...
  15. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

Yeah. It is the same development conundrum Harimoto faced. You might be more "talented" than the Chinese but they have the secret developmental sauce.
  16. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

Lol. This kind of nonsense again. CIC was up 3-0 against Chren Xingtong at WTTC 2023 and failed to close it out. Everyone accepts that CIC and to a lesser degree Paranang are unusually strong. Everyone knows that Hayata is in a group with very strong opponents but you continue to push...
  17. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

Every since the disastrous 0-3 defeat at the Asian Teams Champs to Iran, the Japanese seem to have figured out Noshad...
  18. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

People complain about the commentators but I have been pleasantly surprised at how familiar they seem to be with the sport personalities. Makes me wonder whether they are aided by Chat GPT lol...
  19. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

It's enough time to get used to it but he may ultimately not like it. Different strokes for different folks unfortunately.
  20. 34th ITTF-ATTU Asian Cup 2025, Shenzhen, 2/19-23

Yep. For those who want to remember how bad ir can get, there is a reason that Dima ultimately left Donic and Freitas left Tibhar - they juat couldn't play without Butterfly stuff and it wasn't reflecting well on the brands. While ESN has closed the gap, people who have gotten very used to...
