  1. WTT Star Contender Doha 2025 - 6-11 Jan 2025

Kuai Man, anyone? Can you provide the articles with the negative connotations of Chinese clone? I at least provided am article from a successful TT coach in Maryland, you just provide your righteousness. In fact, more discussion of the topic led to the conclusion that cloning is just a stage...
  2. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

I have played similarly loops of half long balls many times, you can't blame a double bounce on the sound entirely especially when it came off the player's hand. And it wasn't that close, the ball.was going to come off, it was taking it early that created the sound.
  3. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

You don't understand English. There is a difference between "beating China matters" and "only beating China matters".
  4. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

I didn't awe a double bounce. Nit could also have been a double ir and the racket could have hit the table. MLTT needs ro do better on such calls and rules.
  5. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

Chat GPT hallucinated, but my statement is very specific to singles. If you actually list out the medals, you will see that Hayata has a lot of Asian medals that Ito doesn't (Hirano does, even if Hirano"s difficulty was much higher), a World Championships bronze that Ito doesn't (Hirano does)...
  6. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

Stop speaking to yourself. No one has said that only beating China matters because losing to anyone else has consequences. Hayata is the most accomplished Japanese singles table tennis player of her generation. Yet you hold up someone far less accomplished as the person to be respected. So...
  7. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

Ah okay. So for you, only China matters, the others do not. Thanks for the clarification.
  8. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

And your posts prove that Hayata is not the most titled singles player of her generation? Or that Hirano's being smarter helped her beat Shin Yubin at the Olympics? You seem to misunderstand the point that you are being accused of - selectively citing other facts doesn't affect that.
  9. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

Again, looking past the fact that Wang Yidi was involved and that there was no Wang Manyu or Chen Meng. Looking past the fact that Sun Yingsha was not in good form. Continue to cherrypick your facts when it suits. Or just accept the results for what they are and agree that by medals and...
  10. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

    Hari-boy clearly confused.
  11. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

Some Chinese players can't use D05 on the forehand (they prefer Hurricane) but Harimoto can. Some of them might find D05 too fast on backhand as well. So the point is not just at our level. That said, there is a physics to this stuff and it isn't all feeling. But players below a certain...
  12. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

Kuai Man has already answered that question. Beating China is not the only standard. Korea(s), Germany, Hong Kong and Chinese Taipei also have serious plans so let us see how it all plays out. North Korea and Germany are especially interesting wild cards.
  13. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

And Harimoto's record against Felix especially and Truls secondarily? Beating China isn't everything as Felix. Hugo and Truls have proven - you have to beat everyone else in front of you as well.
  14. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

Yeah, but i am not as convinced of this as I used to be. After all, we have Gozo, who is enamored with rocket launcher hinoki bazookass. He is used to playing with it, likes playing with it, and isn't in the mood to use something else. It is possible to use blades that are too slow just as it...
  15. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

You are so full of it. The medal that got the bonus, Wang Yidi wasn't involved as well? Sun Yingsha having lost to PRK KKY and pulling out of the singles and not looking good in her next full event, was 100%? Hirano beat Chen Xingtong, who was the China #5 and only summoned because of the...
  16. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

And Felix as well. The contests do not encourage much confidence, though it looks like Harimoto should be more competitive. Harimoto's current top 5 is more about ML and FZD retirement than something we didn't see last year so far. He has to do something we didn't see last year to get over...
  17. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

These are largely players he has always beaten - beating a player you could beat before is largely uninteresting. Until he beats WCQ or Felix Lebrun in a big match for a big title, there will always be doubters. Yes he beat LSD twice but that comes with asterisks.
  18. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

That's why when you make it an Asian thing or a Russian thing, I am puzzled because there are so many cultures that have individuals that don't smile unless prompted to. And Sora has a very surly personality so it is just about him, not about Asians.
  19. I feel that Dignics 05 is extremely overrated. Is it just me?

Most of us can play with hardbat if you that route. It's nor so much being convinced as much as knowing whether D05 makes something about your game more effective or not than say Fastarc G1. For me it clearly does, others who it doesn't, good luck to them. Could I play with inboosted...
  20. WTT Contender Muscat-2025 - 11-17 Jan 2025

I don't smile either unless asked to, which I often am. The issue is not whether a person smiles or not, it is when you make it an Asian thing. Maybe it is, but i know lots of Asian players who have smiled on camera so it's weird to take that route. But maybe you bare right it is cultural.
