  1. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

Nah, at the grand slams, referee evaluation, especially for referees relatively new to that level, is at its highest. But the problem is that since these things are never made public, no one is held accountable and it is obvious as others have pointed out that between keeping players somewhat...
  2. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

It's not quite as dire as it looks, nothing wrong with being wiped out by good players and matchup nightmares. And on the women's side, a lot of it was unfortunate friendly fire.
  3. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

The umpires didn't call them until Boll made it obvious they were. If the umpires hadn't agreed with Boll, then what would have happened? Boll would have missed random serves, lost the match and we would be having a different conversation.

So what is this list of players he has lost to with a higher level of FH attack? Curious.

Is it a CNT player thing or a Wang Chuqin thing?
  6. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

But if the umpires hadn't stepped in, the result could have been entirely different.
  7. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

Partly because he has taken it to a level where the quality of the serve is almost impossible to read from the bounce and the third ball is so strong if you go long that it doesn't matter if you keep the ball onnthe table. Against his quality of third ball, the ability to read the ball and give...

Hahaha. Against all those guys it is still a shootout.
  9. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

Completely disagree, I have seen enough technical improvements from Truls that he would give WCQ trouble in a fair fight. He is now playing good backhand topspin for example but it makes little difference if you are unable to see the serve of a player with killer forehand.
  10. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

If they don't do something about serves, there is absolutely no one other than Fan Zhendong and maybe Lin Yun Ju that has a chance against WCQ. This is ridiculous.
  11. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

I watched the match and maybe I might have s different opinion watching the replays, but he got burned a lot when he switched to the forehand. I felt his real problem was that at a certain point, he just got into trouble with the level of spin/speed in the rallies no matter where he put the...

His forehand isn't goo's enough yet for the alternative.
  13. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

It is clear to me that he needs to switch to Hurricane on both sides to reconnect with his destiny and fulfill the original prophecies of the TBH.
  14. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

No one knows the future. But people who post here regularly understand the joke I am making.
  15. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

Excited for the upcoming matches. We might get to see a patented TBH appearance following a Harimoto loss to LJK!

That's completely normal, don't baby him! Now hitting your wrist on the table or breaking your blade, that is sadness

Kamal is a beast, would never have predicted that.
  18. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

WR58 is a sandbagger, we all know this... he should be playing with his mates like Felix Lebrun, Alexis Lebrun and Sora Matsushima, not with old men like CCY and Hugo...
  19. WTT Singapore Smash 2024 3/7-3/17

Long pips strike again, SHW beats CIC! Am I too late to get on the bandwagon?
