  1. Why is zhang jike alc not so popular or used?

I think a lot of people use and like the Zhang Jike blade handle designs. While the Butterfly Koto ALC blades are all similar, their different handle designs appeal to different players. People who focus on price may pick a cheaper alternative, but people who focus on handle design and...

Pros are also very consistent in hitting a particular sweet spot with their contact, so they can wear out that sweet spot really fast with lots of training. If they gave you that used sheet, it would feel like a new sheet with at most one dead spot which you might never hit because you are...

The Nigerian Open this year was pretty well organized and transmitted. Watched a lot of matches. Quadri received amazing amounts of crowd support and rewarded them by winning it all. Toughest match was against Lauren Devos of Belgium and best match was arguably the final, where his forehand...

Wu Jiaji took 3 games off Calderano. Kanak couldn't take 1. LEt's keep some perspective here.

Batos is a bit too stiff for me.

I had a bad experience with the Eternity and would have sworn off Stiga 100% if the Carbonado series didn't have great reviews.

The Extra is a great blade but I do love limba. It combines the best of the koto and Hinoki worlds for my feeling, so I don't want to betray that any more. If I want to try a fast blade again, it will probably be a Carbonado, as those as the fastest limba looping blades around.

Yep, I am very much a limba fan, I have sometimes tried to pretend I am not allergic to Koto but ultimately failed.

I am fairly sure that the Hadraw VK has Koto outer ply but I will look closer - I may be wrong. And yes, I think the real problem is that C1 is heavy. Lighter than G1 but still heavy.
  13. All wood blades - Fast 5-ply vs Slow 7-ply?

Force Pro Blue is one of my favorite blades of all time.
  14. Has average rally length really decreased?

I think if more physically oriented played the sport, the ge.would have become like it is today, no matter what ball was used. Wang Liqin also got to World #1 during the 39mm ball era, it was team politics not the ball that may have slowed his rise to dominance.

I like flatter handles and the Joola handles are too round and thick. My joint damage gives me some of the symptoms of elbow tendinitis and some of that is related to too much stress on the lower fingers holding/gripping the racket if the grip is big and the racket is too head heavy. A lot of...

Mizuki Oikawa was one of the players who beat out Wu Jiaji in the group stage at the Croatian Open as one example. Mizuki Oikawa beat Timo Boll in the German league. Kanak's rating is partly enhanced by his result in North American events. Same with Heming Hu, who is Oceania champ and WR 75...

The same could be said for Eugene Wang or Kanak Jha if we are using strictly the same standard - remember thar Wu is not eligible for the kinds of events that Kanak's ranking largely derives from and Wu also lost to players at those events that would eat Kanak for dinner. Which is why you need...
