  2. Daily TT Chit Chat 2

Sometimes, you have to have followed someone's posts across multiple forums and social media to notice the quiela in their thinking and the degree to which they can be attention seeking.

My contact depth even for spin has always been relatively deep and with my knees I might need to push a lot. I am experimenting though so it will be a while before I can say I am done with the process.

I prefer the top ply of the Akkad with Wenge wood to the top ply of the KJH with white ash. Even on the Rubicon and on the Arche. The Rubicon was too slow and the Arche was half an Akkad and slower. The Akkad is ridiculously linear. I have zero complaints at the moment and it will always...

Harimoto was born in Japan. No one doubts his age.
  6. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

How old is he? Not entirely sold.

Strokes look excellent and the forehand much better than I remember with a better loading of the core and the legs. Keep up the hard work.
  8. Tibhar Evolution MX-S Alternatives?

If you like MX-S, Fastarc G1 is worth a try.
  9. Who currently has the best backhand in table tennis?

No one is so I focus on overall backhand play and Harimoto has the edge.
  10. Who currently has the best backhand in table tennis?

I don't agree with this at all, but I understand the opinion.

Never been to Triangle TTC in NC. Was at Lucky Shoals and AITTA.

Played yesterday and today on vacation in Atlanta. I am probably around 1900 in level now. My backhand is very close to where it was before I stopped, probably better because I don't have the movement to use my forehand so I sit on the backhand. The forehand is technically a better stroke but...

Again, the stroke is level appropriate. It is better than the first video but you don't have a strong spin orientation. The whip motion is still overly controlled. But it is a good start. One of the things we have to accept is that building a stroke requires you to build the muscles and...

Throwing a frisbee is a great analogy. If you watch the video TKH13 is throwing a frisbee. Just not the way you want him to. I don't think topspin and backspin are that different, the issue is always the power of the incoming ball and the amount of power you need to generate a quality...

I agree. But I have spent enough time doing all the things you mention (including coaching adults) to conclude that adults almost never learn the right thing the first time because their physical strength and desires t to hit the ball hard makes them seek ball quality using muscles that a child...

TKH13, The stroke looks level appropriate. A better stroke is too complicated to teach over the internet but involves a better use of the core to support the stroke.
  17. Having trouble with Tibhar samsonov force Pro black edition Blade/evolution rubbers

It played like a brick. Just like BRS said. Loved the handle but never felt I was the one controlling the ball when I tested it. Way too stiff.
  18. Having trouble with Tibhar samsonov force Pro black edition Blade/evolution rubbers

I found the Force Pro Black edition to be the blade where the populat description was so far from my experience using it that I decided I must be hallucinating. I found the blue edition far more to my taste.

Maybe. There isn't a volley rule so most people accept the point is over once the ball is past them.
