  1. Gauzy, Pitchford, Calderano, Kallberg - Who will be the most successful?

Gauzy has had a steady trajectory and history of junior and senior achievement. He is creative with his game so he will keep on trying things.
  2. Gauzy, Pitchford, Calderano, Kallberg - Who will be the most successful?

This characterisation of their games is ridiculous. That said, my vote is for Gauzy. He is creative.
  3. Rubber question

All those rubbers are slightly faster and just as grippy. Slightly lower arc but still very spinny.
  4. Rubber question

It depends on what about Baracuda you like or do not like. If you just want a basically spinny rubber from the same generation, I think Joola Explode, Tibhar Genius and Andro Hexer are all lighter in that order (lightest to heaviest). Big Slam is lighter but significantly softer.
  5. What handle type do you use

I have very large hands and I have never found this to be the case. The issue is what is their grip?
  6. Killer Spin upgrade

I found MAX too heavy but 2.0 didn't feel much lighter. I would still start with 2.0 though. Cheers.
  7. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

DerEchte gave her the Rambo Loopah technique. Heavy topspin no pace no spin pushes in your face. And she was like - why should I be losing to someone with a belly like that - she didn't see the Rambo Loopah gunz and thighz from all those years in the Army...
  8. Suggestions for Viscaria replacement

The Timo ZLC has been rated as slower than the ZJK ALC, Timo ALC and Viscaria by Butterfly. This is also what a 2200 junior at my club felt (he uses the ZJK ALC now). But a lot of this is above my head. I will look closer at the details of the Timo ZLC and see whether I can make sense of the...
  9. New DHS 40+ Ball - TTNPP (Is it fake or is it real?)

All the balls I use these days are fine. Nothing to complain about anymore.
  10. Suggestions for Viscaria replacement

I thought the frequency of vibration was a measure of the stiffness - I know the blades might feel different but why would a blade with a higher frequency of vibration be stiffer than one with a lower frequency?
  11. November World Rankings 2017

They will fix it to find a better balance like the ATP. They can't skew towards participation so much that it makes ranking meaningless. ELO systems on the other hand can be maintained by anyone. Ratings central is still there for everyone else.
  12. Suggestions for Viscaria replacement

Thanks. What did you get for your True carbons and Viscarias?
  13. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Going to do a review for the True Carbon soon. The blade giveaway this Christmas will be epic.
  14. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

Hey, you know I am an EJ... I remember when a few months back, I watched some videos of me playing with Big Dipper - I got so nostalgic and I gave it a go - and I just realized that the effort was too much for me in my current physical state, so I let it go and I gave away the other sheets I had...
  15. What handle type do you use

I used straight handles almost exclusively until late 2014 when I switched to flare for a period to work on my forehand. Then I went back to straight and had an on-and-off with flare. Later some of my finger work on the blade changed and I figured out the benefit of flare - it allowed me to...
  16. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

    1. I am not sure she was but edge calls are missed all the time - LSW had one on the first game that I thought was missed. 2. Then go back to H3 and see what happens. Sometimes, you need to learn from experience. I hear this all the time from people who are coached or hang around someone who...
  17. Suggestions for Viscaria replacement

Not faster than a Viscaria according to Butterfly spec charts and in my experience.
  18. T2 Asia Pacific Table Tennis League 2017!

Who did Jeoung Youngsik replace? Wow, I have to watch T2APAC again!
  19. Slower, soft rubber a good idea for a beginner?

You seem confused in more ways than one unless you miswrote that. A flexy, slower wood blade will have more vibrations than a stiff, faster carbon blade. So what you have is exactly what you should have expected to have. Feeling is subjective and changes with time and experience. An example...
