I was once 1200 and I am not sold that Archo would beat a 1200 player. Technique is not everything. And I was not the training and looping 1200 player either - I was a hitter and blocker with some coaching.

I think so. I also thinks it makes their club training better as having those three players together makes it easier for them to think about the Chinese as the true opposition. So it is give and take, so to speak.
