The MX-S review is the most eagerly anticipated review of the year so far... more important is who its for and who it's not for than whether it is a good rubber or not...

Paul, Is there any room in Tibhar's blade line for a Drinkhall Stratus Carbon blade which will have the handle you prefer? That way, fans will feel comfortable that they are using the blades of their favorite pros. NL

Oh, the best part of it is the quality of the ball he gets while making the common mistake look entirely ridiculous. It's like he couldn't mistime the ball even if they tortured him while making him to use a toothpick as a bat.

For someone standing straight, that is a good block. The only thing I would change is that your wrist is a little stiff. On a backhand block, your wrist should be loose and the motion should be backward to forward as if doing a backhand counterhit (or a backhand loop without lifting the ball)...

They seem to be making the 38 deg Big Dipper harder - I cannot recommend it as strongly anymore.

Check if your Big Dipper has cut corners or not. The one with cut corners is much harder and less bouncy than the one without. I can use both, but I might either need to boost mildly or find a new rubber.

Yinhe seems to me making the 38 deg much harder now. The rubber is no longer as dynamic as before.

About the same speed - probably slower because it is tackier, but faster on the spin end when driving.

I haven't used Palio's Thor since I became a better player so I can't review it. Big Dipper is pretty cheap. Just get a sheet and try it out. IT's not as powerful as some other rubbers from mid distance but it at least, it has more bounce than most tacky Chinese rubber in the 38 deg sponge...

OF course, you can message me. I'm not an EJ and I switched to Big Dipper mostly because of the plastic ball - before that, I used T05. I posted a sample of my looping with Big Dipper. I am a close to the table player though, FWIW.
