  1. Is the stiga intensity NCT worth it?

I'm looking for a fast cpen blade for mid distance looping. How does this blade differ from the YEO and the offensive NCT?
  2. Xu Xin vs. Alexander Shibaev at 2015 WTTC

I wish i could watch from this view more often. Much greater sense of the game! Do you have more?
  3. Ma Long Reverse Serve Practice 2015!

What scares me about this serve is that it comes at you fast, but slows down right towards the end and catches the second bounce right at the edge of the table (giving the illusion of a deep serve going long/over). I would read it wrong every single time and try to loop/lift the underspin yet...
  4. Should I dish $20 and try the (fake)TG3 blue sponge?

With such a huge difference in price, you should absolutely expect there to be a huge discrepancy in performance as well. Both the TG3N and the fake TG3BS are around $20 like you said. If I get comparable quality out of the fake one, then I think it would be worth a shot. I just don't want to...
  5. Point of the century has gone VIRAL!

Do you guys think switching to the plastic balls is making for more "entertaining" rallies?
  6. Should I dish $20 and try the (fake)TG3 blue sponge?

Solid point. I purchase rubbers quite infrequently, so I do not get to experiment as much. I won't lie, I have purchased it :P, but solely out of curiosity. I will more than likely replace it in a few weeks/months. While I've been training with a coach, I have yet to compete in a competition as...
  7. Should I dish $20 and try the (fake)TG3 blue sponge?

Agreed. Even if I do luck out with a playable sheet, who's to say I would again when it is time to replace it. The 2 TG3N and the H3N I've purchased so far have been very consistent and comparable quality (which has been quite solid).
  8. Should I dish $20 and try the (fake)TG3 blue sponge?

I see. It isn't the color that has me intrigued. I've noticed that the blue sponges on the both the BD and the fake TG3 are porus. I suspect they will feel different than the classic TG3N, H3N sponges (possibly increased dwell time, different catapult effect, etc.), and I'm very curious to try...
  9. Should I dish $20 and try the (fake)TG3 blue sponge?

The dealer has verified (obviously for that price) that the TG3 blue sponge is fake, but states the quality of the rubber is still quite good. I'm currently plyaing with the TG3 neo. Has anyone tried this rubber? Will the performance be on par with the TG3 neo? I've heard the Big Dipper is...
  10. Blue Sponge or Orange Sponge

I've only played with the H3 neo and the TG3 neo (both 39 degree). My bat is the CPEN YEO7P (offensive+) so my impression may not be entirely applicable. I find both rubbers to be excellent, with the H3 neo more forgiving towards punch-type shots and the TG3 more forgiving towards loop-type...
  11. Blue Sponge or Orange Sponge

Have you tried the domestic versions? Do you (or anybody else) no the difference between the domestic versions and the commercial ones? (I know that the domestic versions come in different sponge hardness, I don't think this is the case for the commercial ones?)
  12. Yinhe Big Dipper - Review

MS vs BD, which is better for topspin play, which is better at banana flicks and which is better for hitting/driving?
  13. Yinhe Big Dipper - Review

Is there a difference between the red and black rubbers asides from the color? Are the sponges and topsheets the same? I found this pic of the black yinhe big dipper blue sponge: http://www.kineske-gume.rama.hr/Galaxy_GOD_Sponge.jpg comparing it to the tenergy sponge...
  14. What is the best alternative for Tenergy 05?

I'm intrigued by the big dipper rubber, and I had some questions. Would you mind if I messaged you?
  15. In your opinion, what Polyball is closest into playing like a Celluloid ball?

People at my club are playing with the nittaku *** premium sha 40+. I have the nittaku *** 40+ (not the premium) that is still better than most low quality *** balls (including the stiga *** readily available.) Before the switch to the nittaku premium polyball, the people at my club felt the...
  16. What is your profession outside of TT

Software engineer and a father of two girls (4 yr old and a 6 mo old).
  17. Win a signed STIGA Carbonado 190 Blade!

To me it appears that his wrist is less bent? I know at 2:31 it is a ghost of two images, im inclined to think it is actually closer to his body.
  18. Win a signed STIGA Carbonado 190 Blade!

For everyone who thinks the ball is anywhere other than 10, pause the video at 2:31 and tell me what you think
  19. Win a signed STIGA Carbonado 190 Blade!

I KNOW the ball is at no. 10.
  20. Buying from China on Ebay (Yinhe).

Iv tried moon, mars 2 and jupiter on my backhand (rpb). Ive been pleased with all of them, and find that value for price, yinhe rubbers are worth trying. Out of all of these Jupiter has both the highest throw and tack. Since i prefer tacky rubbers on my backhand, Im now debating sticking with...
