  1. table tennis tips "Increase Spin in table tennis by Chinese coaching"

ttmonster, it's just nonsense that players don't finish points with their backhand. Usually people's FH is stronger. If you've seen a professional kids' training, you must have noticed that FH loop gets more attention than BH loop. This way players tend to try to finish points with their FH. But...
  2. Happy Halloween!

I wanted to get a Timo mask. It would definitely scare everyone off! :D (for those who don't get it, it's an older story on TTD)
  3. Oh wise ones!! Help me understand where I'm going wrong.

Hi Gourav, I can't really say new things, just heighten the importance of a lower stance. Often when you do a FH counter from your BH corner you don't pivot really. If there is enough space move your body and loop like from the FH side. You're fast, use your speed. Lower stance would help your...
  4. Can Timo Boll's victory give rest of world belief?

Most of these losses happened before 2010. So when we say there were people who could beat him multiple times we are speaking about an incomplete ML.
  5. DHS Hurricane 301?

I am interested too, because some time I will need a new/backup blade and I am playing with a blade with similar construction to Bo 2, 301, Innerforce. (Same wood layers as TB ALC, but Texalium fibres next to the core). I am curious about a similar blade with harder outer ply. And I am on low...
  6. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

I wouldn't be so happy if I would play like in league matches in a tournament. I don't say that people usually wipe the floor with me in league matches, because I play in a league lower level than the league I should play in. Still, league matches are annoying, and I struggle to play well...
  7. Did the ball hit the table? Huge controversy - World Cup 2017!

The ball changed it's direction, that's how we can say for sure :)
  8. Too much sidespin on forehand topspins

The french league player is Wei Shihao, notorious sidespinner.
  9. Ishikawa Kasumi infected by EJ virus???

It has a negative effect on TT players if we aren't satisfied with our equipment. So Kasumi started a journey to find her True and Only partner :)
  10. Too much sidespin on forehand topspins

Trust me, they practice with pure topspin. Just in matchplay, it's a good idea to put some sidespin, as the ball will kick off the bounce sideways and increases the chances of an error. But you're right that some players like to use sidespin than other. There is a chinese player in french league...
  11. Amateur vs Pro: Timo Boll playing with a pan!

It doesn't work for me even with Opera VPN and I am lazy to install a proxy. What's the result?
  12. What handle type do you use

I have to add that I sandpaper the handle to fit better. I think if you hold the bat loosely enough you will be able to change grip (on FH-BH transitions) with every handle except some more extreme anatomical or dotec. Apply pressure at contact.
  13. Did the ball hit the table? Huge controversy - World Cup 2017!

On the playback it's clear that the ball hit the edge.
  14. What handle type do you use

Flared, I don't like the anatomical. As I change grip sometimes, flared helps me hold the bat more stable, that's why I prefer it over straight.
  15. Men's World Cup 2017

What!? I thought easter bunny is real  ! He brings me rubbers, so he must be real! :p
  16. World Cup 2017 - Training Hall Videos

TTBelgium, you are our hero! The only downside is the enormous time I will spend watching these videos instead of learning. :D (And before someone replies that I should learn, I tell you I learn enough)
  17. Can Timo Boll's victory give rest of world belief?

Wow, I didn't know that! But I still believe he didn't care much about his body, only what was necessary.
  18. Can Timo Boll's victory give rest of world belief?

Waldner is actually a really bad example. He got weight pretty soon, because he didn't care much about physique and health. He stopped playing earlier than Persson too. Vladi is the evergreen player.
  19. Can Timo Boll's victory give rest of world belief?

Wang Hao and Ma Lin are great players, but we don't know what they can offer tactically. Even tactical skills can come from instincts to some extent. Besides that, I think they wshould be good coaches.
