  1. Removing glue from rubber before reusing?

Depends which rubber you got. The less dense the sponge is, the more problems you will have as you mentioned, with the glue taking some chunks out. However if it's dense or harder sponge, it won't be an issue. Just make sure you peel it making sure you don't force it from upwards, but more from...
  2. Stiga rubbers different thickness from China?

I see, both are produced in Germany, so it's unlike some of their blades, and initially I feel they play very different, will have to play more with it to know better.
  3. Stiga rubbers different thickness from China?

Interesting, thanks for the insight. Seems odd that they have these different releases, but don't offer both thicknesses in Europe
  4. DHS W968 - help to confirm fake or genuine

Both seem legitimate. I believe the 2nd one is a W968 Gold Grand Slam with the extra serial on the other side. Check my comment on my own post regarding handle sizes on W968 https://www.tabletennisdaily.com/forum/topics/w968-different-handle-sizes.39477/post-579028
  5. Stiga rubbers different thickness from China?

Hi, I recently got a Stiga DNA Hybrid H rubber from a source in China, I noticed that the rubber is 2.1mm, compared to 2.2mm that was directly bought from Stiga in Sweden. Is it known for there to be a difference? Packaging is also slightly different. I'm not really doubting it's authenticity...
  6. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, the ignorant veterans strike again
  7. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

Posts have been far from critical, but rather ignorant and indenial :) I already mentioned all sheets have been national and addressed quality control But I guess you didn't read those and went straight to defend the 1% commenter club, since you bring it up as well. If you want to be...
  8. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

There's a very big difference of being critical and being indenial :) I don't mind people being critical, especially because there are no other post on this, but when I then respond and explain, multiple times, in a row, and their projections shifts and they contradict themselves to match their...
  9. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I’m fingerpointing? I’m replying to shifts in projections made on wrong assumptions and indenial, if anything the ones who are stubborn and indenial are the hostile ones since they simply refuse to read the post or my comments, and keep running around the rosy to argue. None of the ones making...
  10. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

You’re the one mixing oxidation with stretched topsheet, so I don’t understand why you turn it the other way around now :) First you assume that my stretched rubbers which have similar topsheet look as the other pictures I posted, are oxidated and not stretched after a 48 hour boosting period...
  11. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I would agree but I’ve had same result on 3 occasions, so I wouldn’t call it a onetime result. But when I get the chance I will see if I have some leftover rubber from the cut, to stretch and show the change in surface
  12. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I have gotten the memo that you want to be indenial, but I am telling you that these are tensioned completely different, for what is the same starting point, different procedure. Professionals rubbers being highly tensioned/stretched as well. You clearly do not want to understand or see that...
  13. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

That is the point of this post? To ask others for their procedure and result, as I can’t just keep opening new rubbers for fun and tests to waste. This is mine after 4x, where 3 that had removed film had same stretched topsheet as visible on the “low” resolution pictures, while all had the same...
  14. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

Well, I've done 3x procedure of removing protective film and resting on a small bottle cap to allow for maximum stretch with same result as the ones you see on pictures from players - only now tried without removing to see if it kept the topsheet less stretched, which it did. All rubbers started...
  15. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I hope you are trolling with this comment after watching my other replies
  16. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I can say they feel very different, but you will see this kind of topsheet on almost all the top players rackets, hard to find clear images of them but some examples. *Note at a side angle they will all have a lot of shine
  17. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

I don't think you understand, I know quality control can affect tackiness, but both rubbers were just as tacky/sticky before boosting.
  18. Different Hurricane results based on boosting procedure

It is but only slightly, it was sticky like left before boosting, but after matte and grippy like the top picture, the lighting makes it hard to see
