  1. Chinese National Games 2017

ZJK's career feels dead. [crying-emoji here]
  2. Chinese National Games 2017

    2 from every group
  3. No top 4 chinese at Austrian Open

This might be a training strategy change. CNT staff seen that Japan is sending tons of players to every tournament and it is working for them. Also, the National Games is a very big event and the CNT might have a specific training time after that.
  4. Czech Open 2017

I don't know about the recent matches, but I vote for Ueda. EDIT: I've forgot about Harimoto.
  5. Can Akkuzu vs TableTennisDaily's Dan! 1 set showdown!!!!

He is good. Really good. His style impressive, for me, isn't.
  6. TT Glue

Probably the players who use speed glue here are using a lot more layer. (EJ virus symptom, they don't remove the earlier layers). So when there is a decent amount of glue, then it can be removed in one or in a few more piece). Besides, I use Revolution too and it takes some work to remove it...
  7. Can Akkuzu vs TableTennisDaily's Dan! 1 set showdown!!!!

I admire his skills and results but for me he's still the least impressive. Playing level and being impressive isn't the same thing. Aruna's forehand is impressive, Dima's backhand is impressive etc... Akkuzu is 'just' a good player. You can say that his FH push was impressive. But when you see...
  8. TT Glue

No, I don't know exactly. I don't use speed glue, but players from my club do. By using speed glue like water based I meant that regular reglueing isn't necessary, just if you want to use the sg-effect. It gives a good glue job and if you want to try out a new blade or something like this, you...
  9. Viscaria beast mode!

Then I know why are they so good. Besides the excellent construction, good handle shape and balance.
  10. TT Glue

Old speed glue is much cheaper than the current water based glue. You can use it like the water-based glue (you don't have to reglue often, it's just because of the speed-glue effect), but if you want to use boosters water based is way better. So, do you want water-based or old glue?
  11. Robot training Robo Pong 2050

It's better than nothing. You have to decide if it's worth the money.
  12. What's your favourite shot!

Kenta is another master of chop blocks and great touch-shots. All of these could be my 'favourite' shot: OFF: He was, is, and will be my favourite player forever. The reason is his creativity and that he is developing his style despite he started at a very young age and now he is 26. I...
  13. What's your favourite shot!

Backhand roller, BH chopblock, Kenta's style backhand reserve chopblock (like against Ovcharov in their recent match).
  14. Chinese National Games 2017

Men's singles is natural for him, he didn't even thought about losing it :D Seriously, this probably means that he decided to train doubles. Probably he will bring a singles medal with his simple everyday training, but MD medal needs focus on doubles training. Also, doubles is the weakest point...
  15. Bulgaria Open 2017

Great job sjuesju! It's a little offtopic, but ITTF will try out using multiple balls during each match in Czech Open, just like in Chinese Superleague or T2APAC League.
  16. Bulgaria Open 2017

That's gonna be interesting. Jin Ueda is very good, but Kenta is good too. I would say 50-50%. In the Aruna vs Asuka match I would bet on the japanese, but who knows? Ovcharov probably will win this tournament, but I think Oikawa has the second best chance against him after Jin. I still don't...

  18. Adam Bobrow VS World's Fastest Serve!

I tried to do this serve during last week's serve practice. 8-9 times out of 50-60 attempt. And only 2 was as fast (at least similarly fast) as Sakai's. With practice I could improve it a lot for sure, but it would still have a high fault ration and it's quite predictable after the first time.
  19. Can Akkuzu vs TableTennisDaily's Dan! 1 set showdown!!!!

Actually Can was the least amazing pro player Dan challenged. But it was a great job Dan, you improved a lot!
  20. Practice match, tips?

Hi, you should train your footwork. You have to make small moves to be in correct position. Also, you have to try to be more aggressive on the FH side. This doesn't mean that you have to loop-kill everything. Instead of the FH blocks you have to counterloop with a smaller swing than you do on...
