  1. Chinese National Games 2017

CCTV will stream it for sure and after a while they will be on the internet. If I remember correctly, CCTV 5 streams TT.
  2. Stiga quality

It was a very bad idea from Dandoy to don't reply. They ruin their own reputation. Usually suppliers help you with any problem because if the customers are pleased they will come back.
  3. Chinese National Games 2017

Ok, then these my tips for the 1st place in the groups. I think Shanghai, Shandong, Beijing and the PLA are stronger than other teams. I would say the PLA and Beijing are the strongest teams, but Shandong can be a threat if Liu Dingshuo and ZJK play well.
  4. Andro Rasanter r47 shrinks (alternative, no shrinking, esn, hybrid rubbers?)

ESN rubbers shrink. You can try Fastarc G-1, as it's made in Japan. Hurricane 3 definitely stays the same, but if you don't like Genesis, probably you won't like Hurricane. Why do you reglue often?
  5. DHS Rubber Quality

Sometimes DHS rubbers' topsheet peels off if you boost them heavily. Which is funny, because DHS rubbers usually need to be boosted. To avoid this problem, players apply the the booster through a glue layer. VOC glue might cause the same problem as boosters. But because you used WBG, this isn't...
  6. Chinese National Games 2017

My tips for the round robin: Group A: Shanghai Group B: Shandong Group C: Sichuan Group D: PLA
  7. DHS Rubber Quality

Well, DHS has more quality problems than ESN/BTY, but this is strange. You might be just incredibly unlucky to get two bad rubber. Did you use water based or VOC glue?
  8. How rubbers' "Control" should be read?

Usually the manufacturers give higher control rating to the more forgiving and softer sponged rubbers. So when you see a rubber with high control rating, then it probably won't be very fast, nor spinny. Sriver is an excellent example.

Today I could go to training after a while. I didn't felt myself really well, my illnesses left me exhausted and 4.5 hour (two separate sessions) of training in a hot room isn't the best way to rest. But outserving a first league player (many times) can pump up your mood :)
  10. What would a championship winning penholder have to be like today?

Wong Chun Ting's and Xue Fei's style is modern enough. However I don't think Xue Fei will be world number one at any time. His footwork seems a little sluggish sometimes (compared to other chinese players) and I can't see enough fire in him. Still, Liu Guoliang said that he has a better backhand...
  11. Watching pros makes you better, and we should watch women players

I've found this in another thread: Zhang Yining vs Lucjan Blaszczyk
  12. Watching pros makes you better, and we should watch women players

In Hungary women's first league players are estimated to be equal to men's second league players. At least their playing power was estimated like this in an all-league handicap tournament. But my teammate girl who is around fourth league level will play next year in women's second league.
  13. Shoulder/neck pain

Ok, I will see a doctor sometime. Just for being accurate: it vanished during the day when I tried to find a comfortable position for a little rest. I've found it, didn't feel any pain and when I moved a little again (I wanted to drink a little) I noticed that the pain is completely gone.
  14. Watching pros makes you better, and we should watch women players

Women can't loop as powerfully as men. By powerful I mean both spinny and fast. Because of that a close to table counterattacking style is more among women than men (we can see that it's very effective among men too, but I think it's more common that a man must go further from the table). To...
  15. 2017 Chinese National Games Table Tennis

We have all the teams and players's list?
  16. Watching pros makes you better, and we should watch women players

I think the T2APAC league is very good for women's table tennis. I rarely spent time watching women's tt. Simply I didn't found too interesting the 'close to the table bang bang kind of game'. But the T2APAC did two thing: 1. It's a mixed event, if you want a full experience, you can't skip the...
  17. Shoulder/neck pain

Thank goodness, the pain is gone. It might have been a pinched nerve, because it disappeared as sudden as it came when I finally found a good position. I would go to a doctor, but without a referral it would take a lot of time and tripping without a guarantee that a specialist would see it...
  18. Shoulder/neck pain

One more thing: I couldn't feel any tension or hard parts in my shoulder and neck muscles, everything is pretty relaxed :O
  19. Shoulder/neck pain

Hi guys, tonight I woke up with a very bad shoulder/neck pain. (I am infected with calici virus too, so couldn't sleep well) I don't know what might cause it and what should I do. I did all these tests in the video below, but I was negative to all of them. I tried icing, massage, some gentle...
  20. Daily Table Tennis Chit Chat

No, you can only take a towel break at every 6th point. Imagine a doubles match where every player takes his/her towel break at a different time. It would give a hard time to the poor referee :D Anyway players often clear their hands on the table close to the net or on the side of the table.
