Assuming Pitchford is in shape, who are those many that you think could pull an upset on him?
  2. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

Agreed and it was a problem for the Blasters in particular which is why I called it out...hope it is not going to be a recurring issue and if it is they won't have much playoff hopes with their B team. Overreactions from first match: Lily would have no issue with Wensheng Wei...Omoda looks like...

Jinbao - training in China, WTT Lily - UTT, WTT, living in Australia Cruz - doing whatever 888 ownership makes her do Pereira- not sure Didn't say they are worthy commitments but commitments nonetheless... just wondering how availability factored in to the team drafts
  4. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

Bay Area has none of Jinbao/Lily/Cruz/Pereira present for the first match and pays for it... wonder if their roster will often not be at full strength this season given those players other commitments
  5. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

Even as the underdog, I've always seen Jinxin hold his own even in defeats. Never seen him get dismantled the way Pitchford is doing right now...backhand clinic

But still likely to be a liability for Florida since she can't be hidden in doubles anymore...

  8. Major League Table Tennis (MLTT)

Only one doubles match so far, but the pick of Yuanyu Wu over Thiago Monteiro, Wang Wei, Edward Ly, Eric Jouti and even Sid Naresh might prove to be interesting. Maybe a desperate lefty pick for doubles.

There is still a huge gap between WYD/CXT and SYS/WMY. And to be the #1 and meet the (unfair) expectations that fans place on prodigies, she'll need to do it more than once. And that is the hardest part.

An Jaehyun played the tournament of his life that time, but yes, he did exploit TH's weak forehand and footwork at the time. I'm referring to the quoted post that is referring to her physical strength.
  12. WTT Champions Macao 2024, 9/9-15

These narratives about 16-year old Miwa sound a lot like what they said about 14-15 year old Tomo when he started breaking out with the wins over top CNT players. Tomo's inconsistency issues didn't actually really develop until he started making significant changes with his playstyle and body...
  13. Good Forehand Rubbers instead of Tenergy 05?

Pretty much the only correct answer here is D09C but a lot won't like to hear it.

  15. WTT Champions Macao 2024, 9/9-15

And I said it when Franziska was up 1-1 9-1 ;)
  16. WTT Champions Macao 2024, 9/9-15

Cho Daeseong's performance this tournament makes Kanak's Olympics run look even better
  17. WTT Champions Macao 2024, 9/9-15

Kallberg never stands a chance against Lin Yun Ju...
  18. San Francisco looking for training partner.

This guy hit 2200 in the Bay Area? He'd probably only be 1800 if he came to the East Coast.
  19. San Francisco looking for training partner.

You're 2200 now after you were 2500+ 10 years ago? Sounds like a rough grind.
