Would having 2 layers instead of 1 make it feel different for example softer. The rubbers were put on brand new beginning of March with 1 layer on blade 1 layer on rubbers. Just wondering if I reglued with another layer on rubber would it make feel softer or any different.

Yes will consult his coach. Rozena is definitely a option only concern is speed. But otherwise rozena is as u say a very forgiving rubber with good control.

The idea was to slowly upgrade his rubbers as he improves. My thought is no point upgrading blade until he has reached the level of say tenergy rubbers and is comfortable with them and needs a speed upgrade which would then be a new blade. Till then blade upgrade is a no no...

How would Rakza 7 soft or Rakza X soft be like?

Rakza 7 is spinny indeed but I think will be too quick for him. I think it will be maybe a big step up from roundell than needed.

Have you tried just changing fh rubber to Mayb Tenergy 05FX. You are currently using a pretty quick set up, BOLL ALC with T05 is pretty quick. TB ALC has outer carbon and outer wood is koto which is a harder wood. Maybe try T05fx or slightly slower controlled rubber on FH first before changing...
