  1. Soft vs hard rubber on backhand

Totally agree, and from my own experience T05fx is even easier to use on BH. Dignics is advanced rubber it requires good technique to get best out of it.
  2. Soft vs hard rubber on backhand

Definitely!!! It’s slower than T05. I have it now on spare blade on FH. But the control is incredible compared to T05. On my main blade I have T05 on FH and T05fx on BH. On spare blade I have Dignics 05 on FH. Dignics80 is supposed to be even better so I am considering it on my FH.
  3. Soft vs hard rubber on backhand

Tenergy 05fx is a great BH rubber. Great control, so easy to open up against backspin. Regular Tenergy 05 is quicker and less controlled. I previously used Dignics 05 on BH and found it harder to open up compared to T05fx. The stroke had to be perfect to get best out of it. If you are still...
  4. Dignics 80 Review | 5 Things You Need To Know

Good info cheers. I used Digs 05 on Bh but changed to Tenergy 05FX as I found it easier to generate spin. With Dignics 05 I found stroke had to be almost perfect. Whereas T05fx even a light brush lifts backspin effortlessly. Short game with Digs05 was good so easy to keep ball short but I’m able...
  5. Dignics 80 Review | 5 Things You Need To Know

Have you used Tenergy 05 before and how would it compare. I’m considering a change due to reasons I gave in a earlier post today.
  6. Dignics 80 Review | 5 Things You Need To Know

Can anyone give comparison of Dignics 80 to:- Dignics 05 Tenergy 05 Tenergy 05fx I currently use T05 on FH and T05FX on backhand. Previously used Dignics 05 on BH short time but found FX much easier to use and to generate spin. I am currently contemplating changing FH rubber to something...
  7. Dignics 80 Review | 5 Things You Need To Know

Hi any reason why you are keeping D05 on FH. What differences do you find between them. According to review D80 is easier to use easier to generate more speed with less effort than D05.
  8. Timo Boll ALC vs Harimoto ALC

Hi Dan very informative and straight to the point video. Would love to see comparison of Apolonia to the Harimoto blade. You have reviewed both individually but would love to see comparison between them both as both have 2 outer layers of Limba and the only difference in composition is one is...
  9. Butterfly Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce ALC Blade Review

T05fx is such a great bh rubber. For Fh despite the extra control it would be great but T05 on fh is better for outright winners I think. Obviously depending on your level. I have temporarily been using dignics again on my new apolonia blade which has much better feeling and dwell compared to...
  10. Butterfly Tomokazu Harimoto Innerforce ALC Blade Review

Hi Dan. Out of curiousity how does it compare to the apolonia ZLC? Both Limba outers and ayous core with only real difference being the carbon? How do they both compare and play against each other? Also out of curiousity have you moved to 05fx on your backhand after your review or are you on...

  12. New Apolonia ZLC

Does your friend have same set up as what have just got now? My old T05 is much softer than my new so I know it will get softer. My concern was the blade. As it happens my colleague is getting his new rubbers later this week so will be able to directly compare as we both have same set up. As...
  13. New Apolonia ZLC

I’m afraid I didn’t weigh it and now have rubbers on it but initial feel didn’t seem much difference in weight. Will just wait till it’s played in and will know I guess.
  14. New Apolonia ZLC

Yes colleague is using T05 also but probably at end of its life so he’s getting new sheets himself very soon so I guess will be able to compare but his blade is nearly a year old and he plays more than me. I bought new sheet of T05 with blade as my old ones would be due to change soon anyway...
  15. New Apolonia ZLC

Hi Guys I just bought a new Butterfly Apolonia ZLC and have put a new sheet of Tenergy 05 on it. Reason I bought this blade is because after trying 3 colleagues apolonia blades (with T05 on them) I liked the softer feeling and control and the huge dwell u get from it. After trying mine it felt...
  16. Young improving player set up

I believe both are Limba Limba ayous Limba Limba. Korbel is slightly thicker blade I think hence slightly faster. Also roundell will suit him for now and will be a upgrade from sriver.
  17. Young improving player set up

His coach has said Primorac off- or Petr korbel leaning towards Primorac and rubbers roundell both sides. This is a coach that he has developed fastest under so I’m inclined to stick with his advice. And in fairness the 3 blades I was looking at was joola wing medium, Petr Korbel or Primorac...
  18. Young improving player set up

That is what I was going to do. I was just going to get ideas from people on here and then go to his coaches with idea. Funny enough one coach is sponsored by joola another by butterfly. So if I go for my original choice both would be happy. Lol But I will run it by them.
  19. Young improving player set up

Hi Guys My 12 year old lad has been playing for 9 months and developing rapidly. He trains 3-4 times per week including 1:1 coaching. He has started local league and is playing really well and has a under 13 competition end of this month. I am looking at getting him a new set up he can use for...
  20. Tenergy 05 FX Rubber Review | With Kalinikos Kreanga

Definitely. Not great if having a bad day. T05fx is so much easier to use. Shame doesn’t have same vicious spin as dignics as I got so many points from a backhand open up just due to the amount of spin. Unfortunately inconsistent at the moment but Mayb one for the future as technique and...
